So just a quick question, I'm working on a fanfiction for .hack, and need a couple of beta readers willing to waste their time with the rough rough draft or alpha is what you'd call it on a computer/ Now first, it will be a cold day in hell if I ever get this thing even started, however basing a miracle that it sees the light of day, anyone want to be a taker? Or course you'd get credit for it and appreciation.

I'm pretty good at that kind of stuff. and yes its called an Alpha. I'll be willing to proof read and give you tips on how to improve or whatever. just post it and i'll read it or you can send it to my e-mail @ robertklingon@aol.com

Why not just post it? Honestly, you can't get any worse than the utter and complete garbage I write, even in pre-alpha, and not once have I been chastised or warned/banned.

If you post it on here you will probably get a bunch of people leaving comments, but I doubt they will be all too committed to being helpful, y'know? Good luck what ever you decide.

And from what I've read it's more of a bother than helpful, no matter how you intended it.

Anyway a new .hack rp sounds good, if you post the gist of it people would probably help you out. Only if you want to hear "Aw man that sounds cool!" or "I think it needs revision here, here, and here."

Yeah, that is the impression I have been getting as well :/ I just wanna increase the quality of this forum though. I really like it and wish we could get it back to where it was in its prime. Or at least the creative writing sect.

I do not think it is a role play by the sounds of it. He said "fanfic". I believe the is a story, not an rp. Call me if I am wrong though.

He said he was trying to make a .hack rp (He also already made one, but you probably knew that.) in a different thread, so i just put two and two together and assumed it was going on as a story (Describing what would happen if it all went according to plan.) and as an rp. (Describing what happens with character interference, which is as always unpredictable and inevitable.)

Well GRAR is right. Actually if you think about it, fanfiction IS roleplaying. It's taking a world map and saying I don't want to go this way, I'd rather go off the map.

Never thought about it that way I'll admit.

I always considered role playing a group thing, but yeah I guess if you define it that way I would have to agree that it is a RP.

Update: I got two page written so far (In between being very busy), so now I'm starting on writing in The World.

Hopefully more and faster updates will come soon.
