Individual DVDs vs. Boxset

Is there a difference between the individual DVD releases of .hack//SIGN and the boxset? Isn't one or the other missing Unison? And as a side note, which does everyone have/prefer? The individual DVD releases or the boxset? Is there a preference? I'm looking to buy my first official .hack//SIGN collection since viewing it on Cartoon Network, and want to know what everyone else likes.

If you can find a boxset I would just go with the boxset.
I'd hate just having to search for them all piece by piece, but that's just me.

In order to own all of the episode of .hack//SIGN available on DVD you will need to buy both the complete DVD box set as well as a limited edition copy of the sixth DVD
Terminus. With those two you will have every episode but
GIFT and that can be found on the fourth .hack//Liminality disc found in any copy of .hack//Quarantine.
