So yesterday I was walking around outside at a nearby relative's house, and they have a lot of stray cats who use their land as a breeding ground (I'm not even kidding, there are so many freaking cats it's not even funny) and I came over to see the new litter of kittens, but I didn't even get a chance to see what they looked like, because from out of nowhere a full-grown cat jumped down at me (I was in a barn) and proceeded to attack me. Luckily, I put my arm up just in time and saved my face, but I got some nasty gashes across my right arm, and a deep puncture wound on my hand where it bit me the hardest.

My grandma wanted to call 911 in case I got rabies or something, but I told her I didn't want to (too much of a hassle) and so here I am, with a bandage wrapped over my entire forearm. There was so much blood... o___o

I guess you're just not a cat person. If I saw a stray cat, I'd have left it some food or something, then left it to it's own buisnesses. After all, Cats are insanely proud of themselves, won't think twice if food or a comfortable sleeping space is offered, and also dislike people butting in on 'THEIR' - note the quotation marks - territory.

I'd advise that if you want to build some kind of relationship, be passive for the first few months, then see if the cats start coming up to you and rub up against your legs. If so, success. If not, well then, see my first sentence.

I guess cats are not my friends too. I get home at 23:00 everyday, and there's always a black cat inside my house that always go away when I get home (it even jumped on my head once!), and usually freaks me out when I see it jumping over the wall. There was even one time it tried to attack me >_>

Even my dog has a better relationship with that cat than me D:

You should make sure to get the scratches washed out so you don't get an infection. Also that was probaly the mom cat protecting her kittens.

Ya see, this is why you need to walk around with one of those "Axe Bullets" and a jet lighter. Instant flamethrower! Only lasts for about a minute with one of those small spray cans, but it gets the job done and the flame is actually hot enough start some wood on fire with no tinder.

Uh, rabies is 100% for-sure fatal. It's pretty much one of the worst diseases ever. If you have any doubt you should probably get it checked... THE MORE YOU KNOW!

After figuring out what caused those people to go senial and zombified in the movie QUARANTINE, I pretty much look at rabies now in a...."smaller" perspective. -_-

Anyway yeah I used to really love cats because I think they are cuter looking than dogs but I dont like how cats are not as affectionate as dogs
or as easy to train so then I prefer dogs, but im in a point in my life in which I just dont want anything to do with pets...even though I LOVE animals.

My best friend's girlfriend's cat dislikes everyone.
He will attack you for no reason and growl.

I think he is a paranoid skitzo cat who thinks everything is out to get him.

Okay, it's been nearly a week and NO SYMPTOMS OF RABIES. I'm guessing it's all good.

Now that I think about it, I'm not much of an animal person period. Except for goats. I love goats. Especially when they make that adorable noise (forgot what it's called). Too bad I've never owned one and probably never will.

When I was five, I was scratched really badly by a stray cat that was the friendliest cat I've ever seen to this day (aside from that incident). It was sitting on my chest with its front legs wrapped around my neck like it was hugging me (BTW, it's name was Huggie) and purring as I pet it. My younger brother, who was only two years old at the time, suddenly propelled himself in his new plastic car thing he got for Christmas towards the couch I was sitting on, and the cat totally freaked and yeah...it's been over a decade and I still have a scar on my right cheek.
