Crash went from great games to failed games

This is not new, but as we know the Crash Bandicoot games have failed. After Naughty Dog gave up the series it wasn't very many good games after CTR. Why not bring in some new content with the old style of playing? Crash looks retarded as well. Crash 1-3, CTR, and Bash was the best. Nitro Kart, Twinsanity, and Wrath of Cortex was decent.

This reminded me of the "fall of anime" thread. Nostalgia much? XD

But i agree, though i wasn't really interested in any Crash games after Crash Bash, only played Nitro Kart once (and saw how HORRIBLE it was...CTR, being a PS1 game, is FAR superior in gameplay and looks than a PS2 game DX). But the Crash games developed by Naughty Dog were truly awesome. The first game was great, entertaining, and very difficult too...the kind of awesome games. The second was very great as well, focusing more in the development of a meaningful story rather than just "a mutant bandicoot saving his girlfriend who is never heard of again", and the gameplay being easier but still difficult and entertaining. And the third game kept the difficult, and developed the story and everything else even more....that's my favorite game, Crash Bandicoot Warped. And Crash Team Racing was one of the most entertaining games i played for the PS1, among the ones i loved the most, and that i could play daily with my bro and it was so very freaking great. Crash Bash was still entertaining, but i saw it ridiculous sometimes, and i just wasn't as interested on it anymore.

And i agree with the Spyro comment too, and am witness for that....after playing Spyro the Dragonfly, a game which wasn't even completed properly as it was released to the public X_x I actually consider that the 3 main plataform games for the PS1 were Crash, Spyro, and Gex, and as soon as the PS1 era ended (a bit before, actually, but they still lived proud), they were abandoned, and picked up by abusives who tortured them in the most horrible ways, and then sold out the results, no matter how awfully they left them. Didn't happen with Gex though...the little pwnsome lizard was left to die, which might be seen as something very bad...but in comparison to Crash and Spyro, he was lucky to have died with honor D:

CTR was a HUGE MarioKart killer. I played that more than MK surprisingly. It had some of the coolest power ups, weapons, tracks, battles, and music ever concieved (My favs being that time warp thingy and the missiles as well as N.Gin Labs and Oxide Station being my favorite tracks) Then came CNK, and when I first heard of it, I was pretty hype about it, but when I actually played it, I was highly disappointed. The game felt slower than it's kick ass predecessor, and the story was just....yea. It was cool going all F-ZERO by driving upside down and power sliding on loops and such, but it wasn't enough...For Crash:
PS1/GBA era > PS2 era

Man, this sure brings back Memories.

Crash Bandicoot 1-3 were the first three games I played on the ps1 (aside from the demo CD that came with my psone, which had a Crash Bandicoot Warped demo and was my fav on that CD). And the ps1 was my second console (the first was a Mega Drive III, and I had only 8 games: the 6 in 1 that came with the console and two Sonic games '-')

I remember my brother got them as a gift on his birthday. We spent months getting 100% of Crash Bandicoot 1-3 three times each when I was 7 year old. Me, my brother and my neighbor used to played CTR at least once per week ever since 2000, and we were still playing it until I got my ps2 at 2006 o_O

Now I look at ps2 Crash games and just say "meh..."
I played three of them (only remember the name of Nitro Kart), and didn't really like any >_>

As for Spyro, I got 100% of Year of the Dragon 5 times and I never got tired of playing Ripto's Rage. I never played the first game (only a demo that came with my ps1). The ps2 games of Spyro were a little more interesting than the Crash ones, but still aren't as good as the ps1 ones =/
And yeah, sparx should've stayed speechless =X

In CTR I had 100%, and all of the characters in the game. It sucks that my two old ps1 memory cards got corrupted, but at least I got one from a friend now. Crash was the first series of games I got for my PS1. When Naughty Dog gave up Crash the series started to fail.

Crash Bash was very fun, and worth playing. Wrath of Cortex was ok, but could have been better. Twin Sanity left the wrap room style gameplay, but it turned out good. Crash Nitro was not as good as CTR. They made Crash of the Titans, Crash Tag Team Racing, and Crash Mind over Mutant and they all failed.

In the latest games they revamp the characters look. Crash has tattoos, Aku Aku looks like monkey mask, Uka Uka looks like a skeleton, and so on. Crash someone talks now, punches, and take control over enemies. WTF Also the voice acting sucks on characters like Coco.

Spyro 2 is another series that got f*cked up.
