It's all here^^
"The Pokémon Company announced today that a brand-new Pokémon RPG is set to be released later this year for the Nintendo DS. "
"The new games, the first completely new work to be released since the release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl 4 years ago, games which have sold 17,150,000 copies (5,800,000 games in Japan), are planned as an inventive rebirth, featuring completely new ways to play and new Pokémon. "
"Now, Game Freak's development department are eagerly working on development with the aim to exceed every Pokemon game made before now with innovative software!"
Wewt!
But what can transcend all time and space? Origin and anti-matter?
This will be interesting indeed!
My first thoughts, emphasis on thoughts, were that possible, we might see more space origin Pokémon?

Pokemon goes on, and on. Someone post this video on my thread about the 12th movie. Everyone thought this was going to be the fate of Pokemon.

I don't wanna see anything other than a darker version of pokemon, geared at the fans who were interested at the start of the series. The fan's that've grown up and want more awesome things.
Destructible environments that aren't just little arenas, places like alleys, streets, and the underside of bridges. Give it a whole urban feel! Have the pokemon get knocked into objects and break them, then do the move they were ordered to do while leaping from it!!! More movement animations for them! Actual feathers on them, skin, scales, have gravel dust fall from rock types when they move. Have them chase each other around the environment while waiting for their trainers to give them commands!
Like pokemon stadium, except as an MMO with up to date graphics! Better battle scenes! And a story mode that finally continues off of pokemon R&B's, finally revealing that Ash's father is Giovanni!!!

I can't imagine they'd suddenly decide to put Pokemon on the PSP. It's always been a Nintendo-exclusive property.

You are a mad man.
I haven't really owned a Pokemon game since Gold because i've been a broke-ass the past couple years. (Playing ROMs kinda takes from the experience, don't ask.) So I'm sure whatever they do come up with will blow my mind anyway. ♥

We all were thinking this would come when the first Pokemon Battle Revolution trailer was released.

I was going to buy the game because of epic battles like this. After seeing they took the epic stuff out I changed my mind. Plus I don't have a DS.

Other planets would be awesome, since everyone knows planets are the evolved form of Snorlax. There was a competing theory among the Pokemon Profs for a while that planets were actually evolved Electrodes, but this was ruled out when planets didn't self-destruct as soon as you encountered them.

So, Planets chase apple-looking asteroids around? And eat so much that it could be said that the planets themselves are also black holes? D:

The -lax evolution path transitions from eating more to sleeping more. As planets, sure they would eat the occasional delicious apple-flavored asteroid, but they spend most of their time asleep, for eons at a time. You have it backwards, quantum singularities actually evolve into Munchlax....

A new lax evolution would be epic. I wonder what it would be called. I would love see it in action in battles.
In the anime there is stuff that gets destroy in battles. Why not put them in the game? LOL Brawl is rated teen, but many kids bought that game. As long as there isn't blood, or profane language I doubt people would complain.
When ever the next Pokemon console game is made I hope Nintendo can improve on things like being able to use all Pokemon. In PBR if you didn't have a DS with the games you are screwed. They could give people the ability to choose to a Pokemon moveset, or at least give 3, or 4 different pre-determined ones. The rental could have some decent stats.
What happen to playing the handhelds on the big screens? Even a handheld console version would be nice. Think of playing the handheld games with awesome graphics. You would see the battles going on.
Nintendo can be lazy sometimes. They can make the games even more epic, but still keep make it for the younger gamers.

Ah yes, here's my original idea.
Erranty wrote:This just brings back memories of when I was on this road trip, daydreaming. I was Imagining Pokemon fighting with a realistic look in a downtown alley, like FF7 Advent Children graphics.
Starts out with a Blaziken standing there in the rain, eyes closed, steam rising off of its body. Pan to the right a little bit, and u see a shadowed figure in the shape of Ash. Cut to the other side of the battlefield, out of the shadow of a building a pokeball is thrown. Out pops a Luxray. Sparks fly off of it where the raindrops hit... it looks up at the Blaziken. "Volt tackle!," Luxray leaps foward with the speed of lightning and lands the hit, it sends Blaziken flying into a brick wall, stuck in the hole the impact made... "Flame Kick...," Blaziken opens its eyes, as flames star enveloping its legs, then its entire body. It leaps from the wall into the air, does a spin, and comes down on Luxray's head! Pummeling it into the pavement. "Return...," the man recalls his pokemon, "GO! Garchomp!" You see the scales of the red area around its eye as it begins to open. "Blaziken, Ice Kick!" Blaziken rushes foward, the ground it steps on freezing in the form of footprints behind it. "Garchomp, use Dig." Garchomp jumps into the air, and dives through the concrete! You see its fin above the ground, moving like is swimming through the earth. It leaps up out of the ground and hits Blaziken, then spins and flings it into the wall using its tail. "Blaziken, Return" Ash pauses for a moment... he flashes a smile, "GO! Weavile!" You begin to hear its heartbeat. "Garchomp! Mega Punch!" Weavile braces itself with is claws crossed in front of its face. The blow sends it flying into the wall, just like Blaziken.
"Are you sure you're ready kid?" It remains silent for a few seconds, then you see Weavile turn its eyes to Ash, and then its heart begins to beat loudly... "Weavile!" Its head turns to its opponent, eyes widened. "DARK PUSLE!!!!" Suddenly a black cloud shaped like a ball appears and expands so rapidly that it encompasses the entire area, shaking the ground beneath their feet. When the cloud finally dissipates you see Garchomp stuck in the wall, and its trainer next to it, covering his eyes from the smoke. The rain finally clears, and the sun comes out. "Giovanni! You have to stop this!" He lowers his arm and looks at Ash. "It amazes me how much you've grown." One hand in his pocket, the other catching a ball he tosses up and down. "But its too late for any of that now. So... I choose you!" (cut to black) "MEWTWO!"

That's about as far as I got... I kinda wanna go to a game college just to do with with the teams that make Pokémon. Update the graphics, change the way they interact with eachother, and all the ways they show it.
When somethings going to attack, you zoom in on the eye, then pan out while it prepares its attack. Once it attacks you have it hit the camera instead of the opponent's pokémon, and only show the opponent's pokemon either being knocked into a wall and doing their attack from it while leaping from it, or skidding sideways like it dodged the attack and then attacking.
It's also wanna change the way status effects show on them. When paralyzed they should show some sign of stress to move, poisoned they should look sick and tired, burned they should touch their side and cringe, sleeping should make them lay on the ground curled up, can't really do much with them being frozen, I'd have them look around at the sky and their hands like they're on acid when they're confused.

There is alot of speculation of it being either Gen V ( I doubt it) or another type of Pokemon entirely.
Personally, I hope it isn't completely different form the Pokemon now. But I like the idea of using the enviroment to your advantage. But I don't want a darker version either.
As for Gen V, Movie 13 is suppose to release a new type of Pokemon, speculated for Gen V

Actually, I believe it was confirmed that the upcoming Pokemon games are Gen V. They've also revealed one (technically two) of the new Pokemon.

You sure about that?
Also what do you think of new pokemon? A lot of friends have different opinions on it.
But espcially wanna know yours.
finally revealing that Ash's father is Giovanni!!!
I know I'm extremely late, but Giovanni is not Ash's father. He is Silver's father

Well I personally like Dark types, so I'm all for some more. First impression is that it doesn't look too bad, so hey.

I'm all for the new Pokemon, too. After ten years, maybe Nintendo/Gamefreak decided that they need to take Pokemon in a new direction, or at least update it for the next generation(of kids, not Pokemon).
But what can you do after you create god?
