I'm hoping it's some sort of anime version of that Nightmare of Nunally manga.

If it's continuing from R2 though, then seriously wtf.

When I read the concept for that it sounded pretty cool. But I'd figure it'd confuse people a little too much after already watching the regular anime.

I'm with the others.  Lelouch died - ORLY? - in the last season, and the only possibility that  he could have been alive was the fact that there was an unknown character riding in a cart with CC towards the end of the last ep. Even then, it's highly unlikely that  it was Lelouch... hence I say, WHERE DO WHAT GO HAPPEN WITH TO PLOTLINE D;?

Yeah I heard that it was gonna be some form of the continuation after R2 but like  he's dead and the world isnt a giant cluster f*ck of a mess basically or it is but Im pretty sure  you cant survive a F*cking sword through the heart but ohhh welll maybe it will be surprisingly good

I think it'd be hilarious if the third season was called Code Geass RX.

I'm not gonna bother spoiler tagging, anyone reading this topic should know their **** by now.

Not sure how this will work or if it'll be a continuation after R:2, but if Lelouch is somehow alive I'll be glad. Not because I feel he should have survived because really it wouldn't make much sense (unless you care about theories more than "word of god" which apparently MAY be subject to change in this situation). No, I'll be glad because I would get to laugh in the faces of those who vehemently stated "dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead dead deadwealsowanttosniffNunally'spantiesdead dead dead dead."

Though I think it'd be a bad move if this is an R2 continuation with Lelouch somehow alive, I just can't pass up the chance to laugh. So, we'll see.

Arg, this just pissed me off, Code Geass was one of my favorite series, why the hell are they digging up somthing so great? not only do I not see how anything is going to work beside the thought of what happened to the state of the world  now that everything they put thier (BROOKLYN) Rage (Lelouch) is gone? Great endings are better than new beginings >_>

Oh yeah, I remember reading about this; although I'm not really sure what they're going to pull off after R2's ending. Personally I would've prefered if they had just left it at that , but hey, no matter how much I complain about it they'll do it anyway, so I'm just going to wait and see what they come up with.

I couldn't agree more.

Spinoff please. He's dead, been dead. How are they going to do the plot after R2? The only way Lelouch could have survived was withdraw the code from CC, then she would be a normal human again. A little role reversal. What if Lelouch gave CC a Geass, now that would be weird, assuming it did happen. They're beating a dead horse.

What about a prequel of some sorts? or an alternate re-telling of the story? There are possibilities of a third season. Non-canon, but possible. However, I strongly dislike this move. Code Geass was a great anime in general because of it's plot, but like all things that last too long, it will eventually suck. They can't drag it on. Haven't they've seen what Pokemon, Naruto, and Bleach have become? =I

Actually, it IS a prequel. It's going to take place in the historical Edo era, involving a guy meeting CC and some mysterious guy who looks like Lelouch. Also, it's a manga.

The Lelouch look alike is SOOOO fanservice, probably a potential romantic interest with CC. Hope the new guy is as interesting as old lulu.

I weep for the series. The only thing that got me hooked in the first place were the Knightmares.

If you were interested in Code Geass because of the robots, you were totally watching the wrong f*cking show from the get-go.

Her might be referring to the same thing I was, AT: the fact that the Knightmares (well, most of them) couldn't fly.

The only thing that bothered me about R2 was how flight had become devalued. It went from Chromehounds to Armored Core, which while that doesn't sound like a bad thing, they don't belong in the same universe, and set one year apart.

Actually, to me they went from Gungriffon Blaze to Zone of the Enders. I'm an Armored Core lover, but haven't played past Last Raven, and I've never touched Chrome Hounds.

I hope this is a prequel, because I already have my own Code Geass sequel story and I want to turn it into a game.

But if this does take place in the Edo era then does this mean they plan on exploring what Geass is more? They didn't give much details about it in the anime that much.

I can't imagine that not being the case; not like they can fill pages with Knightmare fights or anything.
