Left Wing vs Right Wing Politics

Here is something that is always in a debate left, or right wing politics. I have mix views between the two. For examples I see abortion wrong in most cases, gay marriage goes against the laws of nature, welfare is needed, but needs to be scaled down, communism is not a good government, and so on. The farther left you are the more control the government has, and the farther right few, or no people are in control. Having a government on the far left, or the far right is the worse thing ever. Communism is cruel as one, or a few guys has complete control over everything. On the far right there is no government which leads to total chaos.
Anyway what do you think?

I would like to see more parties added to our political system, like a Moderate Left, Moderate Right, and probably even an Independent party.

We should arrange a mutiny and just go into total Anarchy...

Ok was'nt anywere near serious when typeing that, but anyway. Right now I find it hard for me to have any kind of views on anything, but I do agree with you zaseo. I'm glade that the president barely has any power though.

That crap would be insane. If any president had that power things would be hell. The reason why things can't get done quickly is because there is two citizens classes each tending to support one party. This country is divide. Middle class tends to be Democratic, and upper class tends to be Republican. The problem starts when there is a problem, but both parties has different ways of solving them. Look at the economy. There is different ways to fix things, but one way will hinder someone somehow. It ironic how you get a Republican that does good, and sooner, or later when another one comes in he f*cks something up, so people go Democratic. That Democratic does good, and sooner, or later a new guy in office will f*ck up so people go Republican again.

Most of the BS in this country is caused by Congress, not the President. The President himself has virtually no power.

I'm doing a course on American Government this year in highschool, but my mom's a bit right-leaning so meh. :P

So far Obama is doing good. I just hope he will lead things in a right direction. I have Republican views on many things, but I don't like how they go about doing things.

I don't consider myself either Conservative or Liberal. If anything I think both political parties are dividing this country more then uniting it.

Though the majority of domestic policy is product of Congress, to say the President has "virtually no power" is absurd and demonstrably false. The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the United States for Christ's sake. If you want to know what powers the President has, read Article II of the Constitution.
