Yeah...did anyone read about this? Guess this says something about our culture right now...there are a LOT of fans of Twilight...enough to make me gag. It kinda erks me that it made THIS much in such a short time, but I guess it should be expected given the first one's success. At least Robert Pattison hates his own character.^.^(from his interviews, he implies it) . Do you like Twilight? I hate it, to be honest. It's the most self-indulgent badly written piece of you know what I've ever seen.

My little sisters are Twilight fans, and I was forced to listen to a recording of New Moon every day in the car on the way home from school. Never did I think that a book could drain my masculinity and at the same time kill my brain cells just from being in its presence.

RE-EDIT: Apparently the information I had was wrong. Sorry. It did beat the opening day record, but The Dark Knight still made more its opening weekend.

How many people are watching this crap repeatedly? There's definitely going to be another sequel again about twilight. Ugh. The movie theater I go to, none of the showings was sold out when it had, but 2012 was. I had to wait 2 hours for that movie.

So we must huddle them all into one big pit, tell them we killed that Meyers chick, burned every single copy of books save one, and then throw it into the pit and watch them fight to the death over it. And then we kill the winner.

Twilight is just a tool being used for world domination, and it's been working so darn well. It already manipulated the society, controlled the minds of those who are ignorant, forcing their idea in their minds that what they read and see it's beautiful, wonderful, and how everything should be, showing them what they want to see, and giving them what they ask for, always leaving them wanting more. And now, it's controlling economy, causing all the money to be spent on their movies, their books, their merchandising, and it'll keep gaining money, until everyone needs to depend on it in order to achieve a stable economy else they'll go bankrupt. And just wait, soon it'll take over politics, education, religion, science, technology. History will become History of Vampires, Maths will become Equations of Love. The LHC project will be scrapped and forgotten, to have instead a machine to turn people into vampires, and/or look for existing vampires. It will become the new bible, and the new constitution as well. And every human who hasn't read every book and watched every movie, or that shows any uninterest to twilight, will be sacrified publicly or used in the vampire-related experiments.

We're so doomed.

Well, I've seen it, and to be honest, I'm not sure how it beat The Dark Knight.  There was nothing but talking for at least 2/3 of the movie, half of the time, you couldn't tell what was going on, and the ending was just a mess. It's a movie about Vampires, yet not a single person was bitten. One person was killed on-screen, thank god. Edward pretty much pwned his GF through the wall, which I thought was pretty funny, and then gets himself pwned by his own family. German suplex, chokeslammed, you name it. AND WTF WAS WITH ALL THE SPARKLING?!

I feel like I'm the ONLY teenage female in the world that doesn't like this crap.

I mean, aside from the fact that it ruins mythology, it's horribly written, has boring, undeveloped characters and literally no plot, Edward Cullen is just about the ugliest "hottie" in the history of mankind.

I really, REALLY don't get what so many people see in him.

Twilight fans have to duel with Harry Potter Fans. That is 2012.

I have to say Edward "protecting" Bella was the best part of the movie by far (aside from watching shirtless men wrestle each other).

"Rawr I'm a crazy vampire gimme your blood!" "Oh my god, Edward help!" "Bella, I'll save you!" So he like.....punches Bella in the face and she flies out of the vampire's way....into a bunch of porcelain and glass and **** and gets super cut up. Best boyfriend ever, you got there, Bella.
