I was searching for information on .hack//G.U. when I found this screen shot. It struck me as something odd but does anyone remember creature from the game?

I remember hearing about "Memento Mori", but don't recall it being in the game... was it in the FoP?

Yeah fought that kind monster in the FoP, was red though. Been a long time since I played GU so I don't know if it appeared in other fields, or a similar one (explaining color change). Any one care to confirm this?

Tinder Baron.
That screenshot has a DARN AWESOME quality though, and i don't think you could get that quality in normal gameplay. So yeah, it's just Tinder Baron...a lv150 boss that you get to fight in FoP too :P

It LOOKS like a green-colored Tinder Baron, but its name is clearly "Memento Mori". I remember hearing that name somewhere, just don't remember where...

...Memento Mori is the name of a Tinder Baron clone, just weaker...and green, apparently D:
Also, Memento Mori is a very common latin phrase. Heck, there was even a topic about that, with someone saying that it was a ".hack referrence" because the name was used in Gundam too.

Think I fought that guy on a cloister dungeon =/

Yep, he is. There's nothing really "unique" about him, he's just another normal boss in the game, a kinda-tough one but not anymore difficult than fighting 3 spell-spammer monsters. You can fight in in boss areas and in cloister dungeons.
