Cubia first sighting

When you first laid eyes on Cubia what was your reaction?

When i first saw it my jaw dropped and i thought all hell was about to break loose and i was going to have to fight it RIGHT THEN. While at the same time i was clentching my controler ready for the fight to begin....then i got teleported XD

I thought I'd have to fight it right then, too. I just thought:

"OH ****."

Because the person who introduced me to the .Hack games (and series in general) did so by showing me the clips before and after Skeith's battle, i already knew i wasn't going to fight him and i had already seen Cubia's looks, so i was just all "o3o" and waiting until i had control back again so i could go fight Parasite Dragon o3o

The very first time i saw Cubia though (in that video), i was all "O8!!" and very eager to fight him and see how strong he really was XD

I never liked the Cubia fights. I've fought it once in IMOQ, and you get so close to killing the Core, then BAM HAHA HEALING GOMORA CORE'S AT FULL HP NAO!!!!111!1!!

And of course my party members, instead of killing the Gomoras or the Core, they decide to run around in circles doing nothing... it never even seems like it's a strategic fight, just unfair DX

First time I saw Cubia?

 Cubia is introduced at the end of indfection after killing skeith. And when you first lay eyes on it, it blasts the hell outa you and then you get teleported outa there.

and that sucked because the game ended right there. I thought I was going to fight it then. XD

I'm sure Kuukai has actually played the 4 games, but since he started with Mutation, his first Cubia sighting was really in the first battle against him...so, he was really clueless about what was happening; out of nowhere a huge monster popped out and he was fighting him before he realized. At least, that's what i understood from him XD

Right, I've played all four, but I started on Mutation, and Cubia appears at the very begining of that one in the very first scene, where they recap the cliffhanger. So I was all like, "WHO IS THIS ORANGE GUY AND WHAT HAS HE DONE?!" It really wasn't the greatest plan ever to start with the second one, but I was importing them, and for some reason Infection was never offered for a reasonable price. Pretty much the only time you could find decent listing on eBay back then was (counterintuitively) as the game launched, so I just followed the series as it came out and eventually bought Infection in Japan. By the time Quarantine rolled around I pretty much knew everything that happened in Infection anyway (thanks in part to unlocking the cutscenes for it), but starting out (and this was in high school when my Japanese was a lot worse) I was extremely confused...

"Well I guess Skeith has multiple forms or some ****. Wait... way back in the game Along with Skeith there was "Innis and Magus" mentioned maybe it's one of them... oh we're being warped away... and credits..."

Then did the side stuff int he endgame, got to watching all of sign and waited patiently for mutation.

I told her I became ill from an illness I made up. Since I was twelve, my lying wasn't as crafty as it should have been, but she believed me. "Cubia pollo" XD Man I was so awesome back then. Good thing she was too lazy to look it up. =D

Thank .hack//'s unique character names. XD I was going to say Skeith infection, but Cubia popped in my head first. Come to think of it, Skeith infection sounds a lot more epidemic.
