This show is actually the top anime at the dothackers IRC channel. d5t started the fad and I have to say that it's extremely interesting, now I regret not waiting until the whole show is finished.

Kouen said it all - East of the Eden > all Anime this season. K-on is a nice contrast to Eden though... very big contrast.

Anyways, anyone know what's the deal with all the penis talk on Eden...? i.e. - your Johnny, chopping off said johnnies

I found it interesting and I don't go on the IRC channel anymore. However, it is a bit confusing and I have been into a few other animes lately. I will watch it more when I have less I'm watching.

The final episode of Johnnies of the East was released today, this series really went out with a Bang! Now we just need to wait for the two movies that will most likely conclude the story.

according to one of the many websites I visit, there should be a 12th episode coming out soon.. might this be the rumored movie I've been hearing so much about?

Eden of the East was licensed by Funimation a couple of months back, so there should be a dub or sub release coming out in the U.S. soon!

First movie subbed itself a few weeks back. Suprised d5t didn't comment on it. It was surprisingly disappointing. Only good part about it was Juiz suddenly becoming an emotional A.I. capable of telling people to f*ck off.

Late reply, ftw! I loved the movie. I can't hate anything Eden of The East, even its weakest moments are lightyears ahead of the quality of anime out there nowadays.
