So, I was watching Tsubasa for the first time this weekend and it took me awhile to get into it and to be honest at first i didnt like it at all, but now i love it! i only wanted season one and season 2 has not been dubbed and i havent read the mangas yet. I read some of the plot on wikipedia, but so far so good. Now does anyone else like or not like Tsubasa?

In simple words. Yes.

You know, the usual, they skip, change, omit certain things about the manga; practically the whole 2nd season is a filler. The OVAS on the other hand are pretty good as crimsonxking already mentioned.

I know what you mean >__>;; Though sadly, I haven't read it in a while. I might as well catch up before a friend tries to spoil me.

The anime is trash. Not even halfway through the first season they broke the KEY RULE of the CLAMP universe which is central to the plot of Tsubasa:  The dead cannot return to life.

It's a shame, too. The anime had excellent art and animation, wonderful voice acting and perfect music, and quite a lot of talent that was wasted by asshole directors who decided they could f*ck with CLAMP's master script.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA NO

A mere god cannot bring back the dead. Hell, Yuko can MAKE Gods and bringing back the dead is totally beyond her. The only thing that can bring back the dead is  Princess Sakura, after her body becomes engraved with the memories of every dimension, within a stopped space where time, and thus Samsara, does not turn, and two beating hearts meet each other at the frame of death's door.

Shouldn't you ask about that in a different thread, though? No reason to make this one go off-topic.

I agree with all the others, the manga is superior to the anime. I saw the first 18 eps of the anime, and it was okay, but it had the potential to be so much more. Plus, Kurogane's design did not show off the muscles.

xxxHolic has plenty. Infact, its plot twists tend to be the biggest.

Eh. It's about the same. Not as much filler, but plotlines are really bowlderized, the tragic outcomes of events, for example, seriously downplayed in order to make it more PC, and all Tsubasa references totally and completely removed even if it creates plot holes.

in both cases of Tsubasa and xxxholic, the mangas are far better than the animes, but if you like crap fillers instead of the real thing go ahead and watch them
