I don't know if there is already a thread like this, but if there is its dead. So its simple, list your top 5 favorite animes of all time. Whether its a series or just a movie!

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

My top 5, in that order. There are several more series i really love and all, but for me this top 5 is one of "Favorite series of all time" and "Best series of all time"...for me of course xD

I know it's more than five, but those are all pretty much equal for me. I don't pick favorites among favorites, though I suppose you could read it from top to bottom if you must.

If we weren't restricted to anime, I'd have to say the best cartoon series of all time was that old Batman cartoon that was running back in the 90's, during Warner Brother's golden age so to speak. It had steady plot development, fillers that were actually worth watching, and you never felt even slightly embarrassed for watching it by ANYONE!

XD, those are your favorites? ...Not even Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, but friggin' GT? LOL Oh well, I liked Tenchi Muyo.
Naruto's Anime sucks a whole lot, and Bleach is meh.

I commend you, however, for having the balls to say those are your five favorites.

Inuyasha is not an anime, its a soap opera.

I like many more but I'm limiting this to five, this is also in no particular order since they're liked for different reasons and I hate to say that I feel one is "better" than the other.

I understood it, I just didn't enjoy it. The only episode I really liked was the one with  the 3 ghosts that didn't know they were already dead. Fuyubachi, Zebra and... what was the little girl's name?
