I'm probably not much help since I've never seen it but... I heard it's good but the ending is just "okay." :3

It's on the high end of the anime that I've watched. It starts off extremely slow and begins to pick up after the first few episodes. A good action anime with some comedy and intellect. I'm horrible at making summaries of anime so my best help to you would be, watch it and see for yourself it is good, if you can't bear it at any point, then drop it.

Oh wow, it's actually been a while since I watched this one. I agree with Kouen, it starts rather slow.
Personally, I liked it, the story, the music (Yoko Kanno!), the characters, etc...
The anime has 26 episodes and has released 1 OVA (quite funny) and if I remember correctly I think they were going to release 4 OVAS, but I haven't heard about the other ones :\

Yeah, i just watched the first two episodes. I really like the story and the premise so far. I understand what you guys mean when it starts slow, but at the end of the second ep. it really picked.

Hate to revive an old topic, but I suppose it's better than making a whole new one... At least while this one exists.

I just saw they're making a season 2, I'm a bit excited but not sure how to expect it to turn out.

Yep, it'll be released on October 10th, I actually thought they'd release OVAs.
Although the interaction between the characters is something that hooked me, I really can't help but wonder what exactly they'll do now that some of them are dead :\

Also, here's the promo:

I agree with that. There's definitely a premise but I'm not sure what the plot is going to be. I'm not sure how in the world they're going to make an epic yet mind boggling plot out of what was left.

I would say that from what I've seen, it's really good.
Of course, I've only seen 3 episodes and I stalled watching it due to finding better animes.
By the way, has anyone noticed there are a lot of black people in it?
No racism intended! D:

I still have only seen the first 5 episodes. I bought the first volume but the others i can never find. But yeah i heard about the second season when full metal alchemist was getting a new series. Apparently they were both leaked. Hopefully the season lives up to this one, and also that i can find the rest of this one.

There is an african american in episode 3-4, he's the one who has to fold pages and read real fast for his renumeration. There's also the woman who works with November 11. You should watch farther before generalizing things like that.

Agh, how could I forget April!? Funny how I remembered the guy who has to fold pages rather than her XD And I really hope kururusoft means anime in general :\ seriously, there are other animes were there are none.

That reminds me. The young boy that is always holding april's hand, his name is july. quick question, but what exactly is his power? i haven't gotten that far into the show yet.

If i recall correctly, that guy is pretty much just like Yin, a "doll" or "medium" that can use certain material to observe and track down whatever he has to follow, in his case that material is glass (windows mostly). And he also goes through similar emotional developments as Yin, but his background story is never explained as it was with her.

Well, now that i'm here, i guess it's a good time to give my little ramble about this anime :P

I started watching it because of a friend being in high hype with it, but at least for me it wasn't as good as i expected it. It starts off VERY SLOW...and picks up after the first episodes? lolno, it's only until like the 11th episode or so that all the messing that's happened so far starts making a lot more sense and the story is finally going somewhere. After that, it does get very interesting and enjoyable, with a great ending plot and great episodes, and as it happens with me on every good anime i watch, it made me cry a little at some point, and even though at first it was boring me and i was already thinking it was going to suck, it actually didn't and i didn't regret watching it until the very end. Still, while it's not a bad anime, it isn't exactly a good anime for me...the story is not that great even at the end and several things that should be interesting or deep can easily become annoying and boring. Like Kouen wisely said...just watch it, and if you simply can't keep watching it, then just stop...even if the story can get better and more interesting, it most likely won't be of your interest anymore.

It's understandable that it's slow in the sense of plot. It was introducing the characters and I guess the main things that would be involved. Agreeably, the problem is going to be what the story is going to be though. In all honesty I'm not sure what they'll end up making for the continuation.

Just finished watching it, I liked it, but how the hell are they gonna do the sequel? Even some of the antagonists were enjoyable for me. I was disappointed at the ending, but DtB is enjoyable overall. I so wanted Amber to hook up again with Hei. I grown to like the cast too, but they just killed them off. Most of the characters backstory is depressing. Amber reminded me of CC, except for the lack of sarcasm and cold demeanor.
