where the heck did this song come from? i mean.. .hack//zero is a book. how could there be a soundtrack for it with a song? did it come in some special magazine? what what what? where did this song come out of? and are there any other songs for characters that are only in mangas

It was part of a special CD that came with an issue of The World magazine. I don't believe any other novel or manga only characters have received special songs though.

It's a brief reminder back to Herald's Theme... The unobtainable song...

It's a theme about Carl, the character from the .hack//Zero novel.
It has nothing to do with Harald's theme.

I'm not saying that I referring to how both of those theme's were mysterious and almost impossible to find outside of their original media source

But you can actually get Carl's Theme outside of the games. A special magazine, .hack//G.U. The World Vol. 6, has a special CD that includes that song, among some other tunes excluded from the G.U. soundtracks.
Or, a person could buy the .hack//G.U. Trilogy New World Guide, which also has a special CD with Carl's Theme.

Anyway, yeah, Harald's Theme was (unfortunately) never available on any CD whereas Carl's Theme was and is.

4) Jyu - Bah - Chi! (the song that plays when Piros is messing around at Morrigu Barrow Wall)
5) To the Other Side of the Wall
6) An Old Enemy Again?
7) Early Town Image (This was available as an unlockable tune in Redemption, IIRC)
8) 8 Fu? Lotaif? From the Reflection (proto trailer song)

And if you want the info from the G.U. Trilogy New World Guide CD, I'll look it up later.
