Could some of you who like anime (japanese, and uk/american) answer the following question for me?

How does Japanese Anime differ in terms of audience and genre compared to UK/American animation?

Japanese is more or so for mature audiences while UK/American is targeted more for kids.

Ontopic, well, if you can't tell you are fairly...stupid, Japanese Anime is normally for 10+ While Cartoons, are for little kids younger than 14.

Seriously, you come and ask for a comparison of two things that have little at all in common.
The entire culture surrounding anime is completely different. The only similarity is the basics behind how they're presented. Cheapest way to make a high-quality TV show ever.

If you just wanted to hear more people say it is for mature audiences so you can feel proud about your deduction, then you should've just asked if people agree. It's obvious you didn't make this topic because you didn't already know your answer to your own question.
