Since the old thread was locked and there wasn't too much of a reason to make another back then besides to announce information about there being a season 3 titled Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae,I left it alone.

The manga series is slowly being released of which two are out,completely different style to the anime.

Just announced,Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae will premiere in October

The manga has a Shoujo art style...which is bizarre since the series is nothing like that. Well, at least it's being released.

I highly anticipate the third season. I wonder if Hajime and Tsugumi will make an appearance though...or Ai's assistants for that matter.

I imagine that most of the remaining questions will be answered,the rest of there past,what Hajime's deal was,the sudden appearance of Tsugumi in Futakomori and explaination of Ai's powers/role as Jigoku Shoujo

Not too long before season three airs,a new manga is being made called Shin Jigoku Shoujo.

Same artist in the manga as previous one which means the Shoujo style will remain. Wonder what they'll do different though with this new manga.

I'm also curious as to how Enma Ai returns. The preview pics and summaries all mention her back as the Jigoku Shoujo, but how and why aren't explained...

They have a trailer for season 3 on youtube (didn't play right from the site,though no idea what there saying mind you.

Saw it. It showed more new clips than I originally thought it would. Really can't wait for this new season to air.

And so it begins,with three RAW episodes avaliable and Aerosubs done the first episode of Mitsuganae.

Now the third return of hell....girl ^_^

The first episode was amazing. Much better than Futakomori's first. They've added much more plot points to explore which hopefully means that the main plot will be explored much more than the second season.

We'll soon find out if Aero Subs release the next two episodes quicky ^_^

And theres episodes 2 and 3 translated by Aero Subs along with some other group pair doing episode 1.

Episodes 2 and 3 were good even if the usual formula has appeared. The endings have ironic twists in them that keep the story feeling fresh.

Which could lead to an earlier start to continuing the main storyline along with the cases ^_^

Episode 4 has been translated plus a new group called FTP-Anime has done episode one.
