No... Wiseman and Sanjuro are two completely different characters...

For starters...
Wiseman is an older guy who is a wavemaster in the World, who helps out with the Operation to clear out the Wave

Sanjuro is just a Heavy Blade with a fixation on martial arts movies, like Marlo

Well, thats what happens when you havent played .hack in a while....you forget the characters......ah well, i completely forgot that he was there in the later games, oh well......lol, i only realised yesterday, that in volume 2 of the manga, there is one panel with Crim, Tsukasa and Subaru in it, which is preced by a panel with BT in it.

More than likely just a sly nod me thinks.

Wiseman supposedly is a kid, from the .hack//encyclopedia.

Don't forget the Card Games.

SPOILERS!!!!

In the .hack games, during your E-mail correspondence, "Wiseman" talks about trading card games, school, and the like. It really amazes me that a kid his age could be so knowledgeable and wise and such....and be respected by others. Then again, his character model really shows something...

He wants to be older. It's a stereotype, really, that kids want to grow up. In "The World", the person behind Wiseman IS grown up, is wise, is cool, et cetera.

Wiseman is a child and a friend of Sora's and Helba's. He's a novice hacker that got ahold of the Epitaph and ran it past Helba for analysis. He's not as knowledgable as he seems, as Helba probably feeds him a lot of information. Anyway, he's the middleman between Helba and Sora, and he's how Sora is able to get Helba's member address for Mimiru and Bear.

.hack is set at a time when good voice-changing software is cheap.

uhh...Wiseman and Sanjuro are two totally different people...Wiseman is apparently young and is very knowledgeable about The World...while Sanjuro is a heavyblade who likes to collect katana's and loves old movies...

that's only a few years from now! in fact   pluto's kiss is supposed to occur this Xmas eve...December 24,2005...

but I doubt good voice-changing software will become any cheaper in 2007...or later...

Oh my God. We should get the hackers on this board together and totally do it! Then in the future, Bandai will release .hack//The World after .hack//Fragment and freaky s*** will go down XD

No we don't, and with the Liminality dealio, Aura can be created with little coding.

Missed my point. If we screw around with some brain surgery and Liminality breakage, then Aura would be free-thinking. However, since we know Pluto's Kiss isn't going to happen anyway, it's a moot point. No virus can infect any and all operating systems to the extent Pluto's Kiss did.
