Seems as if CC2 is hosting another popularity poll, this time with ALL the .hack characters. The voting will go on until the 25th.
http://www.cc2.co.jp/trilogy/index.html - click "Special", make sure to know the character's kanji/katakana, and then click the button to the right of their name to vote. You can vote once per day, I believe.

I just know I'm going to shoot myself later for posting this.

Blackrose might be in the upper levels, but she's not beating Alkaid in the polls. I don't think you grasp just how obscenely large the Alkaid fanbase truly is. It's almost like a tenth of my own.

Currently Haseo is taking the lead. This is a great opportunity for me to practice my katakana, although that kanji is quite annoying. I just voted for BlackRose, now 11 votes for BlackRose.

Note 1: Apparently they split up Haseo into multiple categories, you are able to vote for Haseo in his different forms, Xth Form and B-st Form. Vote carefully, you can vote for the regular Haseo (I'm assuming from Twin Blade form to Flicker form), Xth Form, and B-st Form.

Note 2: It seems that the character vote does not include only actual characters, but some of the phases/avatars as well, choose wisely. I may be able to help you figure out which character it is if it's in katakana form.

Is it scary for me to admit that I actually memorized some of their names, and also because of that, recognize some katakana now? :/

Actually, you're only supposed to vote once, period. The top two will be incorporated into some extra on the site, probably a wallpaper like last time. Again like last time, Haseo and Yowkow seem like they're going to win, though for a while Elk was giving them a run for their money. "Haseo" isn't a specific form. The others were added in, "Haseo" was the only official entry. It's just as possible that they'll draw Xth form or something for that.

Personally I'd like to see "mysterious man" (謎の男) from the end of TRILOGY win. If he does, they'll have to draw him, and that would be awesome. I'm figuring more people will realize this the closer he gets to the top..

The AIDS and Haseo will win, and then they'll draw some kind of super fanservice wallpaper again and the HaseAIDS fanbase will multiply by hundreds.

But I'm voting for Sakubo anyway. ;_; I know my wish will be crushed. (... Should've voted for Elk. EVERYBODY VOTE FOR ELK.)

Frick, I forgot about Lycoris! I voted for Kite instead, he and Lycoris are my two favorites (Albireo is after that).

I'm hoping for the same thing. I wish they would at least include the top 10 characters into some special wallpaper or other, like they do in the big shounen mangas. At least then the cool characters - Shino, Ovan, etc. - would get some love.
