The best weapons are Silad, Empty Skyes, The weapons you get from FoP, and the lost weapon.
If you got those then go get some virus cores to do some alchemy.

DG-Z is the one you get from FOP as well as DG-Y. DG-Z is the best weapon period imo.

DG-Z is the cheapest weapon in The World, except against bosses/doppel, but of course, once you get them you pretty much has nothing left to do at all :/
DG-0 is only good against Doppel/bosses and in a bad moment (and before you get DG-Z), but just when are you gonna have a 'bad moment' with the DG-Z? XD

Actually the broadsword from team sweepstakes is the best.

That's actually only the strongest weapon, i guess, with 62PATK. However, at low health DG-0 becomes the strongest weapon, about 100PATK or more. Also, it's a Rarity 5 weapon with Critical +25 and Sleep Attack, which isn't the best thing and making a broadsword with Gurah Fist or even the Silad become stronger when it comes to dealing damage.
And i'll keep saying it...NOTHING can match the DG-Z in power and, mostly, cheapness. Once you have a Dual Gun with an ability that reduces the victim's HP in 90%, you'll never need anything else.

The DG-0 is good for powering up Avatar Awakening because it benefits significantly from P-ATK boosts, and Avenging Bullet is one of the best weapon effects in the game for this (Avenging Bullet maxes at 2X current P-ATK; by comparison, Revenge is only 1.5X at max). Practically, I find that I don't really care about this; it's an extra unnecessary hassle to put up with for power that I pretty much already have anyway. If I want Virus Cores or to be mindless, I go Avatar. If I want to kill, I go Beast. If I want to be semi-mindless, I go Demon (unless the area has Fire as part of its elements, then I don't use Demon at all). Avatar eats all Morale, Demon depends on my whims, and Beast eats very little if I can end things on an Awakened Rengeki. In the first two volumes, an Awakened Rengeki ending would eat no Morale at all, but the new affection-based Morale system in Redemption changed that.
As for the DG-Z, Death's Bullet is just Devolve Invite, but with a 5% strength increase (maybe, I haven't tested it to make sure because I don't care). Sure, that's nice if you need to hide behind distance and juggling since the distance damage penalty dual guns have has no effect on Death's Bullet, but it still has those horrible 1 in 10 odds and it's still subject to immunity (if an Invite or Mortal won't work, Death's Bullet won't either). Empty Skies or any other dual sword with Mortal or Past Invite is infinitely better than the occasional lucky shot, especially in the Arena where all four are halved anyway (Mortal/Past Invite only does 25%, Devolve Invite 45%, Death's Bullet (if the description is correct) 47.5%). Past Invite is actually cheap, whereas Devolve Invite is sane.
Besides, the DG-Y is only the weakest dual gun statistically; it's 15 P-ATK short of DG-Z, the strongest dual gun (so 10 compared to 25). That's not really enough to make or break you considering DG-Y's Godspeed Bullet is infinitely more useful for its better ability to spam Arts, spells, and the Pure Medallion and Icon of Purity. With DG-Y and Super Charge, those two items become combat-ready, and are great sources of Morale if you don't have Holy/Godly/Chicha/Wonder Potions to waste. The only problem with combining the two for Arts is that you need constant Double Triggers to spam anything not Justice. If you can stand watching a constant stream of Judgment attacks, then no one will ever touch you again. The DG-Z against an immune opponent, OTOH, is just a slightly stronger DG-X. :\
Me, I just use DG-Y/Super Charge for Pure Medallion/Icon of Purity spam and Justice nowadays unless I want to go truly berserk. Most of my battles use Skill Boost instead of Super Charge now, but the DG-Y is still my only dual gun. I'll take Godspeed Bullet over Avenging Bullet, nothing, and virtually nothing any day of the week.

It did? o_O
In practice, yes. If the Beast Awakening consisted of nothing but an Awakened Rengeki and a quick victim landing, you'd get enough Morale back from the Rengeki to replenish all of the Morale you used up (it's the very reason I have a couple thousand Awakenings logged in the Ryu Books). In Redemption, even with two party members at pink affection and Morale Boost, you'll get very close, but it won't be enough. It's not like healing a couple times won't fix it though; you'll likely be back at maximum before the next fight ends.
EtherealDeath wrote:They get halved? Now I see why every time I try testing random Past Invite+other things(Raging Hit, Spirit Grasp, Mourning Bind, etc) it doesn't do half the enemy's HP in the Arena.
Yeah, I think it's half, though after watching the low level solo Sweepstakers video again, it might actually be a 1/3 penalty. I remember normal damage appeared to have that kind of penalty, but I wrote it off thinking it was a Physical damage mod the enemy had since I took the number from the Drains. If I don't get to it before you do, you may want to run a test on that.
EtherealDeath wrote:The most I've ever gotten in multiple consecutive hits of Past Invite activation is 4-5 with the Dual Swords. =\
Yeah, but out of each seven hit combo you usually get at least one activation. I usually go anywhere from one to six 18-bullet clips of DG-Z before Death's Bullet finally wakes up, and by that time, everyone's already dead or should've been dead and I end up feeling like a chump for trusting guns that look like rejects from CN's censored broadcast of Gundam SEED.
Of course, if I'm going for Past Invite, I almost never do it alone anymore; Natsume and Alkaid always join me for that. Haseo on Divine Drake (Combo Assist, Spirit Grasp, Past Invite), Natsume and Alkaid on Rage Drake (Raging Hit, Spirit Grasp, Past Invite), both of them set on Tenacity... that's a brutal trio when all three start attacking some poor schmuck at the same time. If the Past Invites don't get you, the three buzzsaws and the Skill Boosted Rengeki that they summon will end all life.

Of course, that makes battles go too fast sometimes, so I do end up switching back to 3X Rage Nezumi (Raging Hit, Spirit Grasp, Mourning Bind). That one's fun because it almost looks like Kite's cutscene attack from Rebirth when I do it right. They're not usually taking individual sides, but it still looks badass to me. That's a nice nostalgic party for me actually, since I usually implement the same strategies I used to use in IMOQ.
