Now that Christmas is over, I'm left with about $150 of spending money and can't decide what to do with it. I'm really down to doing one of two things with it (because I'm sure as hell just saving it). I'm either buy to buy a couple of XBOX 360 games, including Assassin's Creed, or I'll buy a Nintendo DS and one game. So what would you do?

get a DS and pick up a copy of either Super Mario 64 DS (good game, better than the original for the n64) or get a Wi-Fi game and play online with friends if u have a wireless internet in your house. But really, the game choice depends on your personal preference.

I heard LOZ: Phantom Hourglass was pretty good, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet lol

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass or Phoenix Wright 3 if you're getting a DS since these games are very good. xD

I dunno for the 360 since I'm hardly played it these days.

DS Lite-Contra is getting a remake and Zelda:PHG.

Assasins Creed is a great game. Its only about 8 hours long but its really fun. It has a nice cliff anger ending ( second one coming, rumoured to be trilogy).

given that a video game dosn't take long to beat it's probably better to go with multiple games rather than a new system.

If you don't already have Gears of War or BioShock then get those. You could also get Assassin's Creed but I've heard its a bit short.

but if you get a DS be sure to get Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass, it's a pretty fun Zelda game with Wi-Fi XD

Except for the occasional Mario or Legend of Zelda game, I haven't thought much of the DS. Keep going with the 360 games and wait eagerly for Resident Evil 5 as I am.

I've probably spent more time with Assassin's Creed then my DS. I'm not sure what other games you own so I can't make another recomendation though.
If you play properly / take your time AC can take you at least 30+ hours.

Get a DS and Phoenix Wright.
Because that game is crazy awesome.
