well... i would like the ff IX made into a move, because there is soooo much that could work in a movie, in that game.

Final Fantasy VII is the only one to really deserve a movie considering the cliff hanger ended. Meteor goes,life stream comes up,we see Aeris face,and scene......WTF happened after that?!
Square:Well...we will let you know in a movie 8 years from now....

Plus,it was one of the most sucessful FF's....and as Nomura said "There was so much stuff that we could have done with it,so we did it."

I'd like to see a movie from FFX/X-2 showing more of the background stuff, such as Paine/Nooj/Gippal/Baralai's time in the Crimson Squad. I know there were those spheres and all, but I think it'd be cool to have a movie and show more in depth of this, while showing the story of X/X-2 as well. That's what my cousins and I think anyways. =/

Kind of. FFIX is my favorite, but I'm not sure how good a movie it would be. Then again, I personally don't think any of them should be movies. They're games, they were made as games, they're meant to be games. What makes a videogame good isn't the same thing as what makes a movie good.

I'd have to say that Advent Children was evidence enough that no more should be.

yeah ff 7 really was the only one that deserved movie rights the rest r good but not movie worthy I think

FFX, idk why but theres just something about it that i love! And the storyline but out of all, its the blitzball! I mean that 1st sceen was AWESOME!!!!

I think they should make a movie out of final fantasy tactics >>;; it's pretty epic in it's self.

The only reason Advent Children was made is becuase
1) FF7 was overhyped. it was a great FF but I still think FF6 was way better.
2) FF7's ending sucked. They need some sort of decent conclusion, so they decided to make a movie full of McGuffins.

Personally my biggest dream is to make FF6 an anime series. If done right it would be awesome. Given the the mediocrity of most game to animes though, its not likely.

None. They've beaten this series to death enough as it is. It doesn't need another movie.

You know, I seriously think the entire Final Fantasy franchise gets as much attention as it does JUST because of FFVII. Think about it--none of the other games were even all that good. And like S1lentOP and others already said, the series really has been eviscerated and stuffed down the drain by now. Can we flush the freaking toilet yet?

Word. FF has been in a long decline since FF7. The only FF I liked after that was FF9, which was decent and breath of fresh air after the piece of s*** that was FF8. The rest were a big resounding "meh" for me. I wouldn't say to "flush it down the toilet", but I think the franchise need long hiatus.

And there is a Xenosaga anime. I don't recommend it, it sucks.

ff7 needed a movie to continue the story past the ending... whereas something like ffxii for PS2(one of the best) doesn't need a movie because the storyline, graphics, and in game cutscenes already give you enough of a movie... plus the play time you can spend on it totals about 98 hrs =O!!!

I have to agree, wile I am probably one of the biggest FF fans you will ever meet what with a compleat collection of FF games all beaten with every single thing that could possibly be done on them...I have to say the games are getting old. they shouldn't have called it final fantasy more like...never ending fantasy or something >_>:
