Release of SHATTERED Author Rights - Guided Research Project

I have a delema...
Being a student of the Design and Technology Academy, I am required to to a senior research project encorperating unknown skills (I have to learn something in other words) using my technology-based endeavors. Currently we are coming up with proposals for projects, and one idea that I came up with would be what exactly would go into the writing, editing, and eventual publication of a book. There is only one problem...
I am lacking a major literary work... except one.
As many of you know, the .hack//SHATTERED story is a big hooplah all written by the people here on the boards, and is a compilation of a whole bunch of different writers. If I go ahead and choose to use my literary idea, (I know the copyright problems faced from Bandai and CyberConnect, but I can take care of that) I would like to use the .hack//SHATTERED story, namely Chapters 2 and 3. I would, of course, have to go back and re-write most of it, putting it in complete gramatical sense and making it blend, as well as take out some of the parts that aren't exactly nessisary (Silvermane, your commercials will go at the end
) but there is one obstical in doing this. According to some law or another, and just my morality, I can't just take this and use it. So, I was wondering if I could have the writers of the .hack//SHATTERED story to take their work and use it in this project. I will aknowledge its original ties, however most of the writing will be changed enough to where technically I could call it mine. I, however, refuse to not give credit to the wonderful writers on this story, regardless on just what they did. I may also have to re-write some of the character development and take out some of the humor, but the general overall "E1N54MK317" plot will be kept. This section will be selected due to its origionality, and the fact I don't want to get sued, lol.
Well, with nothing futher to really say, for those of you who are out there and wrote on the story, please, PLEASE send me what you think (either in this thread or PM or e-mail me) so that I can get the wheels rolling enough to consider this as an overall project idea. Also, writers please e-mail me with your personal contact information (your real name and so-on, I will hunt you down over AIM otherwise...) at CybeRaveN@satx.rr.com Also, any other members of the board, feel free to comment on my idea. Constructive critisism is nice, just don't flame me half to death. Hopefully we can get an agreement, and thank you for your time!

In any case, feel free to use what I wrote (though I kinda left later on ...). You have permission to use what little I added 
Umm.....ok....*shakes head* Well, I hope that project is chosen and of course you have my permission to use what I wrote. Just be sure to include me in your "This work would have not been possible without ..." section. 
lol Well, I hope that everything works out and that you will be allowed to use //SHATTERED.
