Well I can at least answer one of your questions. Namco Bandai has confirmed that right now they are working on an English Version.

Edit: Can't find the information anymore but if you look at the GU Trilogy on the Dothack Wikia it says so.

You might be referring to the Beez Entertainment announcement. No new information has been released yet though, so it's unclear whether this means a release for Europe alone or if this was all an error.

Only questions now are
1: will it be for DVD and Bluray, or release DVD only? (Hopefully Bluray too...high def Trilogy FTW)
2: will I have to go thru the tragedy that was the Code Geass DVD release again or will they fix their DVDs? (as of late, they've been pretty lackluster in the dvd department. I wont give up on them cuz they put out 4 out of 5 of my fav anime, but I dont wanna have to worry about my copy of Trilogy being buggy)

.hack//Roots was the first animu to go HD. But yeah, I wanna see my .hack//GU Trilogy in Bluray on my lovely TV. :3

Uhg. Yes. Hopefully, though I highly doubt it, it will have dual audio (Japanese voices as 2nd language).

Why wouldn't they have the Japanese audio as an option? Most (if not all) animated movies from Japan that are licensed and released in America give people the option to use an English or Japanese language track.

I haven't heard anything yet about a release date, although I've been keeping my eyes open for an announcement.

Count down to Dec. 25 al you like, I'm waiting for Jan. 25! I've heard the movie actually got great reviews, and I cannot WAIT to buy it.
...Wow, I'm getting more .hack obsessed by the day.
