I heard from a friend that a 19 year old jumped off a building and it was reported in the news on the game. I don't know much of the incident and I was wondering if anyone could clarify... If she is correct then the person who jumped could be Silabus!

What a depressing thought... but then that would mean that the Silabus in Haseo's Party would be a Vagrant AI, which, as far as I am aware is not a true possibility, nor would Kuhn have created anything as such without their even being a bit of foreshadowing.
 Odds are it could have been Hiiragi or... yeah only Important character it could have been was Hiiragi, or simply an AIDA Possessed player in the Moon Tree, coup de tat.

It could very well be someone else, but we assumed it was Silabus because of the age.

Curse my lack of info... I've been gone for quite a while so my knowledge is slipping, I am still one to guess it's a random fellow to show you the effects of AIDA in the real world, also it could be  an attempt of the story to fool you into thinking it was Sakaki who jumped after seeing his plans falter. Before it is revealed that he is truly a very youg boy.

Indeed...  I laughed so hard seeing Hiiragi going all gaga for Sakaki. He's ten! Hiiragi is now a pedo.
But you may be right, god I hope you are right... I'd be sad if Silabus jumped.

It's not any of the characters we know. It's just a random guy who jumped to add realism to the story by reporting unrelated events and such.

 Sakaki had a lot of charisma and a strong drive, truly believing what he was doing was right and shutting out all other options, that perhaps what he was doing was wrong. This is present by the way he reacts to Atoli when you chase down Sakaki. That even then, his elegance and eloquence has slipped considerably, but he still had a superiority complex. Hiraagi knew he was being used, as he was present for the meeting with Bourdeuax and Sakaki... so why he followed him out of blind devotion is quite beyond me.

but it said that the 19 year old was conscious when the paramedics arrived. maybe he lived? it didn't say much except he had some skull fractures. wait.... what if it was  alkaid? you never know if the person is a guy or a in real life. i don't remember when  the story first appeared and if it coincides with alkaids incident.

It certainly could not have been Alkaid,  Alkaid falling into a coma is spoken of rather vividly on the news broadcast, even going as far as to say whom she was in The World and the like.

Just some random person.
Saying it is is like saying that AIDA operates that military robot from Vol 1.

My personal theory is that it is a random Moon Tree member. Earlier that night, people heard him scream: that would presumably have been the AIDA during the takeover. Then, he killed himself after the incident was over, probably because he was upset about the whole thing, wearing his M2D.

The individual who jumped to their fatality was unknown, and that has already been established as a valid conclusion. There is no point in trying to formulate a hypothesis based off of unknown elements.

I wasn't saying I was positive in the assumption, just the aspect of Silabus being the one startled me.
