Did anyone know that it is possible to actually hurt data bugs...my friend did it a couple hours ago...though u can only take half of its life before it stops taking damage..it was wierd...but u can only do it with weapons that can cast death

well, you can't destroy Databugs by harming them. Only half health I hear.

Yep. Half health. I tried fighting him for 5 hours straight. No change at all.

i knew for thought it was useless since data draining restores its health even though it goe to normal
There are three exceptions to that.

SPOILERS!!!
Corbenik's three forms. Don't forget, that was a Data Bug, a Phase...killable without any Data Draining whatsoever. Oh, by the way...all the cutscenes involving Corbenik kicked serious butt. Drain Heart, Soul Strike(Sieg/Orca/Sora/Etc breaking the shield), all of it.
