Deciding On A New Poke'mon Game

I have a GBA, but no DS. I only have Gold and Pinball (old I know.) Anyone have a suggestion on an updated game to get where the Poke'mon arn't impossible to catch?

i'd suggest emerald, simply because your supposed to be able to find the GSC starters (chikorita, cyndaquil, totodile) somewhere. This way when you get a DS, you can migrate them to diamond/pearl.

There's also that 'Clone' glitch in emerald.
Emerald is also pretty good, fire red/leaf green are just remakes of red and blue, but with them you can trade with the DS games, fire red/leaf green are supposed to be the only one's that you can trade with the DS games.

btw, i also have gold, but the battery died so i cant save.

the only ones i can think of are ruby/sapphire and leaf green/red fire. ruby and sapphire are good.

How about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I like to play Pokemon Ranger for DS.

They should put Pokemon Ranger on GBA like they put Mystery Dungeon on DS and GBA.

Pokemon Ranger is surprisingly a yes. I read somewhere that you get an egg on it you can trade to the Diamond and Pearl game and it turns out to be a Manaphy, or something like that. It's a legendary. A crappy one, but one at that.

uh... wrong in two ways.
1: ALL the GBA games can 'trade' with Diamond and Pearl.
2:None of them actually 'trade' as you call it. It's call migrating. You select six monsters without hm moves and permanently transfer them to the DS games.

out of those two games, emerald would be a better choice, basically because 1) there's more things to do, 2) cloning, 3) a lot more to catch and a few other things which make it better.

Uhh... if your not gonna get a DS (cause the new games kill gen 3) then get Emerald. Its the best out of all of them though it takes forever to get the 2nd gen starters T_T
