I personally think Inuyasha is a great anime, and Manga. It's funny, has cool fight scenes, and a nice story.

I used to be somewhat in the InuYasha fandom, but then I realized how stupid the fans were, especially when it came to history and Japanese mythology.

InuYasha's alright, the beginning was great, but now I'm like, bleh, it's okay.

I can see why people hate it-repetitive, hardly progressing storyline, annoying characters(at times)

I can see why people like it-fairly awsome love story(even if drawn out), naraku, fight scene's aren't too shaby, naraku, the manipulation of the other characters by naraku.

Fan-wise though=DEAR HARUHI, THE PAIN! BLOOD IS COMING OUT OF MY EAR'S FROM JUST LISTENING TO THEM AAAAAAUGH!!!

yeah i like the series i think that it has gone on for a long time but it has the potential to go even further like bleach that has so many episodes that it is not even funny but it can also go on for ever i think that anime's that can go on that long are the best kind

for the record, the manga is still going strong.

It is still in development, and I think that they're past 500 chapters right now.

I heard a rumor of it ending this year. Not sure if it's true, though.

The last episode's coming out on dvd this year. It's sad. I don't want InuYasha to end.

I saw where they finally beat Naraku on the cover's description in a magazine I read. It's aweful. :(

No, they haven't. Naraku's still as big of a nuisance as ever. He's even created new Detachments.

naraku is almost like the michael jackson of inuyasha-nobody like's him, he like's to use kid's as puppet's, he is constantly changing his look and every time you think he's dead and gone, he ressurect's himself.

Only difference is that naraku is cool. He can manipulate everyone into doing what he want's them to do and capitolise on everything which happens.

Inuyasha isn't a bad series (I think), it just drags on when it feels like it should have ended, though hopefully the manga is drawing to a close (I don't even like reading it very much anymore). Of course, an ongoing series isn't necessarily bad, I also happen to like Ranma 1/2 (a comedy from Rumiko Takahashi that's also been going on an ungodly long time, but at least it's funny pretty much the whole way through). And yes, there do seem to be more stupid fans for Inuyasha than other series I've come across, which is why I give the fanpeople a wide berth.

Don't worry, the Inuyasha manga is almost over. Kagome's pretty much figured out how to solve the whole thing, and she's about to unlock her true power, which will make her stronger than Naraku like a billion times over.

Yeah Naraku is badass he managed to avoid getting killed like a billion times o_0 and he's still kicking ass and pulling things behind the scenes.

That's the whole thing behind the anime. It ends sometime this year. :(
