Guild Wars isn't a MMORPG, and yes I do play it occasionally. I have all 3 games.

Rather than retype my entire explanation, I'll just link you to the last time I pointed this out. It really isn't hard to see how it's not a MMO.

Massive -Lots of People world-wide
Multiplayer-Though you can opt for AI party members, you can always party with people (with huge party sizes available as you level)
Online -speaks for itself

No, but my three guy cousins do. I haven't really seen too much of it, but I don't think I'd get it. It looks a little cool, but a little strange too. Especially the dances and actions you preform out of nowhere. Like I said though, I haven't seen much of it.

A lot of people play on FPS servers world-wide
Multiplayer-Though you can opt for AI party members, you can always party with people (with huge party sizes available as you level)
You can play online FPS with other people in squad-based shooters. Some teams can be very large (e.g. Battlefield)
Online -speaks for itself
Most FPS are online now.
So would Counter-Strike count as a MMO since it fits all of these requirements that you've stated? Obviously not. Why? Well it's very simple; it's missing one key element. That element is that the players do not all play in the same world simultaneously or even a copy of the world (server) where a
massive population of people can play together at the same time. Guild Wars also lacks this element. The only time you actually interact with anyone outside of your party is in designated locations (cities, towns, etc) and even those are split up into districts (parallel copies of the same town, not sections of a town). So even if two people are in the same town, if they aren't in the same district, they can't interact beyond private messaging. Outside of these towns players can only play with their party for the majority of the game in their own copy (or instance) of the world. Once you step into your own world you're left with only your party and absolutely no one else. Everyone is playing in their own separate, secluded world until they enter a town where they can only interact with a small population of people in the district (or instance of the town) that you happen to be in. So consequently, there is no "massive multiplayer" element to the game. It's simply an online RPG. Just because a lot of people play it, it doesn't make it a MMO. You really should have read the long post I made in the link I posted already explaining all of this. In fact, you posted on that thread so you should already know exactly why Guild Wars isn't a MMO and why your M.M.O. acronym thing doesn't work...
For future reference, the words used to entitle the genre doesn't define what the genre actually entails.

Doesn't matter if it's an mmo or not, it's still fun to play. I have two characters, one for each of the campaigns I have.
Prophecies: Shadow Archer Russ
Nightfall: Chaos Shadow Seven
I'm on when I can be, usually on nightfall however.
