Well, who will be playing the voices? I like alot of the ADV VA's.
I hope that they do a good job.
Is it gonna cover the entire three game series , and then hopefully cover Xenogears?

I think the anime is just the first game, not an exact copy of course. ADV uses ZRO Limit/Bangzoom VA's quite often so could very well get some of the people that do voices in the games, but the VA's haven't been announced yet though far as I know.

It would be nice if we could get the games voice actors in this anime. That would probably make the anime a little more bareable.

I picked up the first dvd today, haven't had the chance to watch it yet. They didn't use the voice cast from the games, but there's a lot of good VA's in it link below for info on it and theres a spoiler in the cast list if you haven't played the games.

I would hope that they use the same VA's as in the games. But considering that they changed some of the VAs during the games, they changed Shion, KOS-MOS, MOMO, and Chaos's VA's after the first game, so I wouldn't count on it.
But from what I understand some of the Anime covered the time between Xenosaga Episode's 2 and 3 that dealt with the Gnosis Terrorism insident.

Only the first game has anime styled characters. The second and third games they changed the character designs to make them look more like real people. And they changed some of the VA's as well, as well as a different battle system in each game. But its the story that counts, which is pretty good.

Finally got some time to watch the dvd. I like it, better then the games also like how it deviates from the games story so it's not exactly the same.
I held the PS2 controller in my hand and pretended like I was playing the game cause it's exactly the same thing you do with the games hold the controller and watch a bunch of cut scenes.

xenosagas anime adaptation was okay,but it left too much out. oh well it happens,so the anime was decent. on the other han the soundtrack was good imo.

I like the anime, would be great if it covered the story of all games though. I Sorta don't like the games. Must be because I've got only episode 2. They didn't release episode 1 and 3 in Germany >_> Episode 2 disapionted me, so I'm not going to import the others. Sorry if this is off the topic ^^' Anyway Xenosaga anime is good.

I've only seen the first episode, but I loved the games very much. Except for 2...
I'm so glad the anime only covers the story of 1.

Kind beat ya to it Kyero by saying I held the PS2 controller in my hands while watching just like I did with the game. XP
The second dvd comes out next month.
