why do people say hacked form it it in the story that you becomthe xth form

first of all... the Xth form is not at //Reminisce.
Second.. they call it that because it´s not a job extension like the rest of the forms, it´s an ilegal form that surpasses the system... so for the story is the equivalent of a hax.

it means no number and hacked, but yes this should be moved to the redemption forum before lots of flaming and locking takes place

It does more than surpass the 4 point thing. The damn Duel Gunner class isn't even supposed to exist.

The X represents the fact that due to what it is,it could be any number.
It could be the final form of 30,030,256 attempts at making a new class,yet only appear as fourth form.

It's a variant in the system,and has no registered set form before creation,so the algebric term for variable or unknown,which is X,is used to describe it.

Any extention that goes beyond the system would be called Xth form as well.

It's hacked because of the way it's birthed.
It's the  Key of the Twilight,formed from all the fingerprints of the phases and Skeith becoming one with Haseo given form by a group of hackers,namely  Zelkova,at  Net Slum Tartaga

Thus,it's the hacked form,or Xth form.

It could be called "The form that a suspicious kid formed out of absolute power because Haseo was stupid enough to get close to a massive implosion and rewrite/reset of data",but that dosn't role of the touge,now does it?

id only seen it a few times and then i assumed kuhn had them on his guns cuz i didnt pay attention to his since i didnt really use him that much lol *never really liked his ability to die every 6 seconds* so yea didnt use him that much

FORGIVE ME if tis pops up before~~But im REALLY curious becoz iv seen tis couple of times on other threads....wat exactly is tis 4point thing?A rule tat must be follow by every job?

it basically determines what job extensions an adept rouge can aquire like twin blades take up one point edge punisher takes up 1 point and i think scyth takes up 2 points and steam gunner takes up 3 so that is another reason why it would surpass the system parameters

Adept Rogues can pick up to 3 of any of the other jobs in "The World", but they can only spend 4 pts worth, each job is worth a certain amount of points. For the point allocations it might be best to check the dot hack wiki, cuz I can't remember them all. Haseo's selection was twin blade, heavy blade and flick reaper, twin blade is worth 1 point, heavy blade is worth 1 point and flick reaper is worth 2. Thats why there are many types of adept rogues, for instance Matsu a Heavy Blade/Steam Gunner Adept Rogue. Dual Gunner is not a standard "The World" job class and is thus considered a hack.

At the time of creation, the user picks 2 to 3 classes using a point-buy system, which restricts certain "unbalanced" combinations, such as Shadow Warlock and Harvest Cleric. They also pick freely from one of the 3 armor types. The Adept Rogue starts out in the game with their first chosen class, and must unlock the remainder through Job Extend. An Adept Rogue is given 4 points to use to choose from the following job options:

Blade Brandier - 1 Point
Edge Punisher - 1 Point
Twin Blade - 1 Point
Flick Reaper - 2 Points
Lord Partizan - 2 Points
Tribal Grappler - 2 Points
Macabre Dancer - 3 Points
Harvest Cleric - 3 Points
Shadow Warlock - 3 Points
Steam Gunner - 3 Points
