man I watched episode 1 through episode 30 on tvlinks, yeah Death Note wasin japanese but it had subs so it was alright, I thought the anime rocked I mean if u found a book and you put peoples names in it and they died in 40sec i think thatd be awesome cuz man you could just start takin out ANYONE if u kno theyr whole REAL name

Deathnote is cool to have the ability to kill people by writing their names in the journal.

Dude, Deathnote is awesome because I would write a whole lot of names in the journal(names kept secret) but, in all Deathnote is a awesome show.

one more manga to go and im done once it comes out but it seems the anime might finish first with subs so ill not have to watch them till I finish the manga. I do like how the anime keeps pretty much to the manga.

Ahh Death Note.. lots of epic moments in that anime. Stuff like.. won't say.. it's a spoiler..

I love this anime and manga though. It's a shame it's only going to be 37 episodes long. I thought since with 108ish chapters it would be at least 50 episodes.

I see 37 being a good length for it: more than 25 but less than 50. You can only drag out the story of a college student trying to outwit a master detective so much before it gets old, and I think they were right to keep the series length relatively short.

Very true but   Near does have that bit of creepy edge to him. At leasts thats what I though lol

The Opening to the new episodes is crazy when they 1st started using it I was shocked but by the end found myself head bangin to it lol

XD That's my favorite part to make fun of in that song!

I think they only say that once, and the other times they say "fuankan" (uncertainty), since Japanese rap/hardcore uses homophones like we use rhyming, but subtitlers ignore that...

Great show, though. Mello uber alles. Light's too delusioned, he's a character I love to hate, but Mello's no-nonsense, "true" villainy is something one can respect.

Everyone watch the new episode last night? I cant wait to see how they end it even though I sortof already have guessed. My friend has read the manga and she said I should like the ending... we will just have to wait and see.
