Bikman's Flyers Continuable to Vol2?

I have only 2 Field Medics to find. Is it possible for me to just start Vol 2 and finish the quest then (so I dont have to warp to random fields over and over to find them)? Or is this flyer thing only available in vol 1?

just to answer your question all quest from volume 1 end when you start vol.2

Other than a few items you dont miss much. also you get MUCH better stuff in vol. 2

ONLY READ WHEN DONE WITH VOL. 1 (or you just dont care) --> From what im told it is possible to get canard to max guild level (level 10) by the end of G.U. without getting all the items from the side quests like the chim chims/mecha grunty/bikman/ETC...) Not sure if its true or not so i just got them all anyway.
