I'm going out to buy it in a few days. I don't have the current budget to buy it at this particular moment. It should be good, I've been waiting for it. On top of that I'm waiting for Eminem's new CD. There's no title for it yet but I heard he's got one coming out sometimw within the next 3 to 4 months. That's just going by, what I've heard my friends talking about, and so on and such width. But, when or if it comes out I will be getting that as well.

I think it's great. Of course, I do miss some of the styles of music (like In The End). But the album is still very fun to listen to. ^ ^

Have always hated them. And this album is even more generic than their past ones.

I've always been a lukewarm fan of Linkin Park, but I honestly forgot they had a new CD. Last one I listened to was Reanimation. That rocked.
But, staying on the subject here. I'd probably enjoy it if I bought it.

I thought the album was good...I'm not really sure how it compares to their previous albums, but still, I liked it ^^;;
And sorry if this is a dumb question, but who is Rick Rubin?

Rick Rubin is the new producer for this Album. He's basically the reason I think this CD sucked. And the main reason I think Mike Shinoda needed to produce this...

Unless this CD sounds like Hybrid Theory, I refuse to get it.
Hybrid Theory was great!
Meteora, not so much.
They're a nu metal band, so I guess you have to expect that kind of thing, but they're just about the only nu metal band I could confidently say I was a fan of. (Unless Zeromancer is nu metal, but I don't lump them into a metal category.) Then Meteora came out, and the feelings I enjoyed from their previous songs were all gone.
I'm still waiting for something that reminds me of Hybrid Theory. I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

...Has no one noticed that Iron Maiden released a single called "2 minutes to midnight"? It strikes me as odd considering that no one's noticed that and that was one of Iron Maiden's better known songs...

Meteora wasn't that bad...it was pretty awsome actually
I haven't listened to any of the songs yet so I don't know about it's quality yet.

I've seen alot of people don't like MTM.
I love it. It's not as good as Hybrid Theory, but I like it more than Meteora and Reanimation. What I've Done and Bleed it Out are great.

In order for Linkin Park to be great in opinions, people have to be able to relate to the music. Most songs dealt with relationship problems and unless you relate to the songs, your not going to like it.
As for this new one....I'm downloading from Limewire now.

I, personally, didn't like it that much. The change made them lose sort of a uniqueness that they've been known for since the beginning. Hopefully, they'll go back to their old style, because if they don't then they could lose fans.

Ok, I just went through alot of trouble weeding out the real songs from the fake and I have to say.....some are ok, but the rest aren't good at all. I would have expected much more from them.
I think Mike Shinoda hasn't been any good since the Fort Minor days. Even the two songs I did like only had certain parts that made the song or killed it. If they keep this up, Linkin Park isn't ever coming back.
