Since this seems like the place to ask I was wondering what these do. I got them from Doppelganger in Vol.2 and was curious what they're for or if there are more. As stated on the Vol.2 board:

I waited until the end of the game [Vol.2] to fight Doppleganger and so far this is what I've gained:

First defeat: [Used Beast Awakenings]
His Twin Blades
His Braodsword
Forgotten Shadow

Second defeat: [Used Slephnir and Beast Awakening]
His Scythe
Moonlight Faith

Third Defeat [Same as above]
Padded Cloak

I understand that I know have all 3 of the doppelganger weapons but what are these 2 Key Items for? Are there more because both say they are proof I defeated him but one is "Silver" and the other "Scarlet"

Maybe you get his Dual Guns?

Yes most likely those 2 vol. 2 items are basically the own king of that game.

So to get the doppleganger vol. 3 weapon you must have both vol. 2 items.

or it could be one for the dual gun and one for the accessory/armor(forget which one you get...)

I assumed that aswell... does anyone know what they are for though, someone that's played Volume 3 I mean.

Im not gonna question it because i havent played Vol.3 but it seems odd to me that the doppleganger would give you dual guns being as he is still part of the system and should have the limitations of the system. being that the Xth form is beyond the limitations of the system the dopple ganger should not be giving away any dual guns.

well think about it its programmed to merely copy the leaders data and make itself so, sotechnicly its possible for him to copy the daul guns.

well you do get new guns.
3 more to be exect. 1 forom dop and 2 from fop.
since fop is not a system event and more harald bordom event it's outside the system permeters.

He's hard to beat in Vol.3? Wouldn't the Slephnir strategy work?

I suppose it would.

Maybe you could beat him when you start the game again like I did and used the Heine's weapons for the entire game. Not sure if you can get the Dual Guns that early though since it's suppose to be an "unexpected" things but everybody and their mother knows about Xth and it's awesome guns.

And if it really did copy the leaders data, like no matter who the leader was and the doppleganger would be a black mirror of it... I'd fight Doppleganger Gaspard ;D

he would recover it's damage befor even doing it, he has an sp armor.
you need to take off his sp befor edealing with his hp, not to forget he regenrate around 20 SP every sec.
the best startgy is to dual blade untill his sp is out, change to guns then beast attack, try to kill it,switch back to blades if youve failed.
if you go with guns to the fight you are asking for a big death wish.
