Music of Uknown Origins?

Post by Midnight »

Hey guys... I know this is probably reaaaally late to be asking this, but I was rewatching some of the old trailers I downloaded for Vol. 1 when I was making my costume way back before the game was out, and I got inspired by one of the songs they use (or at least, start to use) in it.

It's the song that starts playing at the beginning of the E3 2005 trailer, as well as a couple of others. It's got those really deep bass chords playing, like a bunch of cellos together or something.

I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I was wondering if it's one of the songs available on the OST (which, shame on me, I haven't bought yet), or it's just a miscellaneous song like one of the many that companies use when making trailers for things because it sounds ominous and epic.

Any help is appreciated =)

Are you kidding me? I've heard Gentle Hands (Yasashii Ryoutei) dozens of times--and actually downloaded a copy of the japanese version. That song definitely does not start off with anything like the description I gave up there.
Unless you're talking about some kind of other edit?

The song I'm referring to has those low chords, followed by some people kind of singing in a low/downbeat vocal choir style.

Is this the music in question?

Yes....yes it is, that's exactly what I was referring to.
Does it have a name, or is there a more complete version of it available somewhere?
