The Terror Of Death Weapons
The Terror Of Death Weapons
ok, i know that this was SORTOF answered in another topic, but i was wondering about a variation of it.
what weapons does haseo use in scene in the dessert when he finds bordeaux and the other pkers pking those players? you know, the movie that you see that starts by saying "8 months later..."?
near the very beginning of vol. 1.
it looks like the rippers blade but i'm not sure.
and isnt it more like a broadsword than dual blades like said in the other topic on this?
its a long blade that has chain saw teeth going all around it.

Actually if you charge the weapons you see the teeth moving. Also the same for rapid hits.Voshra wrote:i wish that the chainsaw part on that would move in the actual battles....meh....anyways.......i ALSO wish i was going to have internet the week that G.U vol. 2 comes out...i won't be at my house that week as well as the following week, and up to the following tuesday...

Dude, the designers using noob weapons is a cheap way to make cutscenes. Default weapons are used the most. its easier than if they changed it for every movie, which would be too much, even though Haseo does have better weapons.Zaizeku wrote:I guess it is a pain for the game developers to be doing that. And so they put him like he is so lazy that he doesnt changed them well at least in the beggining. Dude a lvl 133 character with noob weapons lol
Plus, the default weapons are already pretty damn cool.
First weapons.
I believe there's always a slight doubt as to whether the main characters are really using such low level weapons. However, logic usually ends up proving otherwise.

but the enemies are like, lvl 20, and it takes Haseo roughly 3 hits to kill them each, so it seems to fit.Hachibi wrote:Well, if you use lower lvl weapons in the game it doesn't do as much damage even if you are a lvl50 so i think it would apply to a lvl133 tooRengeki wrote:Doesnt even matter...Haseos lvl 133...Hachibi wrote:maybe they want to give their enemies a fighting chance. ::laughs:: yeah right!

i agree, but it doesn't really matter now because whenever he's losing to a PK he can go all avatar on them.Rengeki wrote:but the enemies are like, lvl 20, and it takes Haseo roughly 3 hits to kill them each, so it seems to fit.Hachibi wrote:Well, if you use lower lvl weapons in the game it doesn't do as much damage even if you are a lvl50 so i think it would apply to a lvl133 tooRengeki wrote:Doesnt even matter...Haseos lvl 133...Hachibi wrote:maybe they want to give their enemies a fighting chance. ::laughs:: yeah right!

They actually do in later volumes. I never got Broad Legged in Volume 2 but the starting scythe has moving teeth. I have Broad Legged in Volume 3 though and the teeth on the Broad Legged animate throughout the whole battle.Voshra wrote:i wish that the chainsaw part on that would move in the actual battles....meh....anyways.......i ALSO wish i was going to have internet the week that G.U vol. 2 comes out...i won't be at my house that week as well as the following week, and up to the following tuesday...
