Wait, two? Do you mean you get the scythe (if the the two was the dual swords and broadsword) after Haseo's third form?

You get the Twin Swords always, and either the Broad Sword or the Scythe, then after beating him again you get whichever he didn't give you the first time. Unless of course you somehow manage to kill him before the extension (which early on is freaking hard) in which case you'll get the TS and BS then as he doesn't drop the Scythe until Haseo upgrades.

BTW the own king is for Twin Swords only. He'll drop the sword and scythe regardless (although I don't know if this applies if you start a new game on Vol.3 or not) The own king also might cause him to drop something else in Vol.3 but I don't know if that was confirmed or not.

1 beast awakening at the start if possible can quickly kill it or at least drain 90% HP.

If you triggered a lucky animal that has the effect of drain 50% HP before using the awakening most likely it will die before the awakening expires.

from what I've heard in vol. 3 you get the dopple dual guns, the DG-0

you dont get any stronger from an extention, just new armor and new weapons to use.
