If I recall right I remeber hearing that sonny was going out of the gaming because it cost more to make the Ps3 then they were getting to sell it for. Does any one know if they hear the same thing?

yes, it does cost them more to make the ps3 then they sell it for.
the exact same goes for xbox and now the xbox 360.

seems to be some long term tactic, but just because of that, you cant assume they're just going out of the industry O_o
they have a HELL of a lot of money.

of course they wouldnt be making the PS3 (or the xbox's) if that sort of money loss would kill them. they know what they're doing
although lately, i dont think sony do know what they're doing, well they sure dont know how to please customer's too well, except for the ones that dont think too much for themselves or the rare ones that can afford to buy such things for the few excelent games to come out for them

Well I kept hearing that the blue rays wernt very campatable so they where going to have to withdraw some from making the ps3 or that the ps3 would be the last system sony made.

Well I still think ps2 is bringing in more monney then ps3. I even had to spend my monney on a new slim ps2 (which I hate with passion without a cooling fan) Well I dont plain on buying a ps2 untill they start having same games I see worth buying. there realsing games like once every 2 years. And there not even decent games. I wander id oblivion is going to be better on it.

pc games are far better on the pc then consoles.
only ever tiem they wont be is if the consoles have the hardware your pc doesnt

Part of the reason I dont like PC is because there is always purchasing video cards and sound cards and cant for get memory too. Pluse I find it hard to find parts that fit my PC.

yeah, it all advances so quickly. but that is better then saying, well i'd rather it advanced slower O_o, that wouldnt make much sense lol
but then it almost forces developers to make games for the newer hardware, so very soon, your pc wont be able to play new games too well, where as on a console it can play them fine, but they just dont advance as much.

but apart from that, just generally taking a PC and a console, you can almost always get the same hardware for both (as in controllers etc), but the PC generally has better controls, such as the mouse and keyboard, or a controller, steering wheel etc and can easily have better graphics. but even worse is that the consoles are getting even closer to the PC direction, with multimedia functionality etc, where the PC just beats it hands down, unless you dont actually have a PC (well, the wii is actually doing the opposite though, it seems)

Dont care to much for the Wii. I am a major Zelda Fan but I dont think I spend my monney on a wii. Yeah I get what your saying about consoles getting closer to the pc but I have to go with the psp a hand held game system that has enternet capabilities.

shame the psp lacks one half of the necessary for making it a good portable multimedia player.

i think the psp would be awesome if it focused more on that and playing other multimedia rather than games, seeing as i dont care for most of the games, but that is just my opinion though, of course. but there are a few games i'd love to play that are on the psp T_T

I dont play any games on it I just use it for the multimedia purposes.

Sony isn't even in trouble. You see, the media has a clever way of twisting things to paint a very different picture than what is actually happening. They do this by focusing on the negatives and putting little attention on the positive. Sony is selling well and there's no way in hell that they're going anywhere anytime soon.

Man, i'm not even that fanboi'y. As things stand, sony isn't doing great Per say, but there's no way there going out of buisness, as it is anyways. Nobody knows what's down the road.
