I personally prefer Terajima, she is quite pitiful with her level 1 self when you get her, however, if you take the time to level her up, she is an extremely valuable asset, and, I find her to be more effective in the long run than Piros

Piros is cool, I don't get why he's disliked by the largest part of this boards members.

I don't know about everyone else, but I couldn't get past how Piros always calls me "OH, HE OF FAIR EYES!" and how he lacks common sense. I mean... it always seemed like he was saying or doing something stupid. Example, in G.U.//Rebirth,  someone who is obviously Piros's next character sits behind a rock for days waiting for someone who may or may not show up. He even falls asleep there, just waiting for someone who might take an entire year to show up again... I dunno, I just can't respect a character in a story that shows so few signs of intelligence.

Yeah, I'm glad he is usually an optional character and not too important...though he is probably the most important ...non-important character...eh.

Meh.

I find him entertaining....

And his theme song in G.U. is awesome! (reminds me vaguely of Lupin the 3rd)

His music in GU is okay. But the theme music he had in the older games was annoying. Mostly because it always took over the field music if you had him in the party, even if you were going somewhere that you weren't required to drag Piros with you, his music plays in the field. That got annoying.

At least in GU, his theme music only seems to show up for some of the cutscenes, and not constantly playing whenever he's in the party. ;p

The first time I played through the games, I tended to be loyal to the characters that showed up first. So if I wasn't forced to drag someone along, my party was usually BlackRose and Mistral, when they were available.

And actually, if I remember correctly, no area that Piros invites you to is "optional". While the events themselves don't have much to do with the plot, I'm pretty sure the plot won't advance until you clear his tasks.

That is exactly what I thought! Since he is a graphic designer he must be a fan of the old Lupin episodes, or maybe it is just an homage or something.

Piros is amusing. I liked taking him along with me during quests, and gave him some of the equipment I couldn't use.

That and his haircut sorta makes me think of Rock Lee...
