It's not as bad when they change the voice actors as when they change the feel of the voice. I don't know if that made sense, but yeah :?

ufff... I'm not alone...
Their voices seen different, maybe it's just me, but I think it shows they are more mature, or just became stronger.

Having the same battle voices in all 3 vol. would get sorta monotnous don't you think? Thinking this, Bandai probably changed the voiceing.

It is kinda cool, but I liked the original way Haseo said "Here it comes!". It sounded pretty cool. And Atoli sounds a lil squeakier than usual. Still, it does make you wonder how their voices changed, and/or developed from last time.

As a side note does anybody know anything about who any new VA's will be? Well actually there's really only one new character with a voice and that's Hiragi. Anybody know who his VA will be?

All of the VAs are the same as far as we know.

I meant new characters. Hiragi wasn't in Vol.1.

Oh, I meant the old VAs.

There's Sophora. Nala should have Yata's VA. The Azure Knights should have Balmung and Orca. Those are all of the VAs that are going to be added to the cast...

Hey, do Orca (Old games) and Antares have the same VA? And who did Balmung's voice in the first games?

Yes, in fact, they do.

I believe Crispin Freeman did Balmung in the games, but I could be wrong. If I'm right, he also does Sakaki now.

Doug Erholtz was Balmung in Infection. Crispin was Balmung for everything after that, including LOTTB.

I knew they sounded different as the games went on! I liked his voice in the first game... Just like what they did with Leon in Kingdom Hearts. The first game was David Boreanaz (Awesome), but the second game was some other guy. Pissed-me-off.

Oh, and Crispin Freeman is Sakaki's VA.

Oh, I'm sorry. The way you said it, you sounded a lil unsure...
Speakin of Leon, I thought he sounded like Balmung in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Anyway, it is pretty cool they are re-recording voices for battles. It probably sounds funny because some of us just got used to the English voices. I remember people complaining about how they were used to the Japanese voices...
