Oops, they are. I just noticed them on youtube and didn't bother to check the author. My apologies... I won't post the rest of the vids then.

Wow... now Canard really looks like a guild, although I can't see if something really changed, it looks the same...

I think they just got a bitching new layout, which I love. The funny theme music kinda kills it, though. It's still kinda catchy, in it's own way.

Well, they did get the new Bike Customization section.

Do any guilds actually have real guards?

In Moon Tree's design there should be, but there aren't at all, I think hackers aren't common in R:2...

Hackers would have nothing to do with it.
An NPC guard wouldn't be used against a hacker, and a guild isn't important ebough for hacker guard systems anyway.

Well I guess, as they really dont matter. All they do is restrict access until you get a guild key or join it.

They don't even do that, they just give that impression.
The gate that stops you from going inot guilds can be compared to the same invisable wall that stops you from jumping off the Hulle Granz Cathedral.
It is just background code that wasn't rendered for movement use,and thus the area dosn't exist.

Oh, I see.
Its like an excuse. So guilds that aren't accessible are really just background textures with a guard in front of them.

Moving to a Guild is like moving to an area through the Chaos gate.
If you walk past the door in town, all you will find is unrendered graphics, but by using it to warp, you can get to the area that is known as the Guild, which is why guild can be moved to the chaos gate as an honour, because the teleporting machanics are the same, just with an extra defense:area words.

So all guilds function on the same principle, from the biggest one to the smallest one.
The area taken up by one guild may be greater compared to other guilds, depending on rank, and therefore take up more of a field.
I think I get it.

Actually, when a guild gets its own field, the Guild Master can change the guild's function to a battle field, or a normal monster field, so alot of options are unlocked according to the guild rank.

Ok.
But no matter how many features are unlocked, a guild area is still just a field, right?
And since big guilds can have monsters, I guess the guild master is like a mod over the area.

yah this home is way cooler than the other
but canard has really few members so it's just visually different
and a bigger home wouldn´t be necessary

imo ALL the people on Haseo's member adress list should've joined Canard. Also you should be abled to buy accessories from Death Grunty and guild shops and decorate the guild. Also you should be abled to get a shop inside your guild that sells items that have been found and recorded in the Ryu Books and are less than 5 stars. Also add the ability to have PvP battles between the guild members, with a vs. computer and a multiplayer mode.
