hmmm..

so Zer0 keeps spreading my hacky little secrets around ^__________^

what can i say, the game IS too easy if yo import a so called "perfect file" to Vol.2
i had everything done exept the bikman Quest and had like 900,000 money

and now all i need to do is buy some Uber weapons and walk around massacring people.

but if someone needs a little challenge in it, just go to fight doppler using only scythe :) (he massacred my party in like... under 10 seconds)

Advantages:
Keep all wallpapers, e-mails, BGMs, items, experience (even 999/1000 EXP), forum posts, and news.
Your Ryu books fill up hella fast, gaining you wallpapers and BGMs immediately.

Disadvantages:
The game is an absolute rape fest far after you get your third form. (If you've leveled up to 50, and have a crapload of money)
do you keep all the greeting cards you got in volume 1 as well?

i think that the only thing that doesn't come with the save is the videos from vol.1
but i kinda knew it from the start.
it would've been possible in Vol.2 but when going to vol.3
there's no way all the videoclips would fit in the DVD anymore (tried it)

and Zer0 btw, i can alter the gamesaves so that they fit in any version like i taught you to do
and i can also make it so that the game accepts any saves you want. (i.e. if it's a JAP game it still only accepts US saves)

you'll figure it out if you check the last lines of /PRG/DEMO.PRG from vol.2 yourself with a hex editor

Hacks take the fun out of the game...I don't mind hacking a game like...I don't know, a 2D fighter, but not an RPG.

i gotta agree with you on this one...

but the hack i was talking about on my previous post (gamesave hack)
is just a way to use your saves on all versions, it doesn't alter teh gameplay, so no harm done :) i don't use any gameplay hacks myself, i dislike those

the reason why i started trying to convert the gamesaves to other versions is the fack that i didn't want to play vol.1 again just to import it to vol.2

So then is it possible for you guys to take a completed Vol. 2 file and upload it to Volume 1 for a New Game+?

is there a newgame+ mode O_O

never heard of that...

but yes, i can take a completed save from vol.2 JAP
and convert it to completed save of Vol.2 US

it's the same game, so it's not a big job to edit the save to fit any version

/BISLPS-25656HACKGU3............
/BISLPS-25527DOTHACK............
this is taken from Vol.2

and Zer0 did you notice that the JAP version has the option to import save from //Fragment. ? what the h*ll do you get when you import //Fragment save to //G.U.
*goes to search for a //Fragment savefile to test out*

what im gonna test next is that does it work if i change these, so that the game would accept US saves even if it's a JAP game, even tho it really doesn't matter since now i can use any save with any version, and it's easier to edit the saves than the game.

and what comes to the newgame+ mode.

someone wanna give me some details ? is there some nice bonuses or something when playing the newgame+ mode ?

when you import a //Fragment save into Vol 1, you get an email from Hokuto to Rena.
