I'm guessing either d5t is busy or Yuri is not up for an interview at the moment. We'll just have to wait until then. (I'm starting to get sick of saying that.)

If you're so anxious to get a reply why don't you just send Yuri himself an email? Maybe by then you'd realize that professional voice actors can't check their emails 24/7.

All questions have been submitted to Yuri. He was browsing through the questions thread on the message board and wanted to add some additional tidbits. It'll be on the website as soon as it's complete.

FYI: It's only been a week and a half.

A second interview is up to Namco Bandai's PR group dothackers has been in contact with. Right now it's too far away from the release of Vol. 2 to warrant any kind of "non-broad" interview.

That's assuming that the March 15 release date is bogus...

It's 110% bogus. Believe me, PR would be full throttle by now if the game was to be release in two weeks.

I don't even know anymore. On one hand they are releasing an awful lot of preview stuff early if it's not coming out til summer. On the other hand if it is coming out in March they are being damn secretive about it (although I read some crazy rumors that they are trying to surprise us with it as some kind of odd marketing strategy, and or give themselves plenty of time to avoid fan complaints like they did when Vol.1 was delayed) On the other hand the usual .hack release pattern has been about 5 months between Volume releases. On the other hand....uh I don't know anymore. It might, it might not. A few stores do say March (not 15th just March, although another store said it wasn't coming out til next year...which is obviously not true) So yeah. Who knows?

There are other Dot Hack fan forums? Why was I not informed!?

Okay, I'm kidding. Anyway, I was really hopin the March 15th thing wasn't bogus, but chances are it was. Plus, March 15th isn't even a Tuesday. They release most games on Tuesdays, right?

Namco Bandai's PR knows, and it ain't coming out March 15th. I've been reaffirmed that. You can't blindly go by what retailers say... which is what the majority of the people here who believe the March date are doing. You have to look at official media (ie: the fricking press release). I can't wait until March 15th comes and goes so I don't have to read the same junk over and over again. I'm solely blaming this on 1ups awesomeness in QA. Good job guys.

Honestly I don't believe it's March 15th anymore either but no longer think summer. I'm guessing April-May maybe. I don't know why they would need to wait until summer when seeing from the videos released it's already done (or close enough to it) It's not like they are gonna need to market it or anything. It's an average RPG the die hard fans will buy it and maybe a few others and thats it. Plus it's odd for them to take so much longer on it than the other .hack games in the past (including Vol.1 G.U.)

I think thats just movies.

But is 1-up really that unofficial? Even the official G.U. forum directs you to updates there in the Official News and Announcements.

I think you're trying to find any reason to believe the release date on 1up's site has integrity to it. They do have some kind of relationship with Namco Bandai, but open your eyes and commit to 100% official sources. This discussion is getting old.

I've seen that, but whatever we clearly aren't getting anywhere so I'll just drop it for now.

I would love for you to drop it completely. :) I don't understand why you would throw aside the press release and believe a 3rd party source. It's not just you though, but you've certainly been the most vocal one about it.

Well I'm done mentioning it in this thread at least (which wasn't even relavant to the topic in the first place)

Ah well til March 15th(and after that til the next supposed release date until it's out, yeah I know but I need something to keep me from going insane with waiting)

Edit: Didn't see that last part. The reason i don't trust press release's anymore is because after an entire semester learning of the evils of marketing I don't buy anything that is "official" anymore. For all we know Bandai could intentionally be trying to confuse the fans giving multiple release dates to see how we react in an attempt to judge .hack's American fanbase. If we say "meh whatever we'll wait" then they know it's not a big thing here. If we go nuts (as some people on the official forum are doing) they know it will sell. Yeah I know its stupid but they seriously do pull this kinda stuff.
