Lucille claps as Toby poses and declares herself a queen. Oh she’s so much more fun than Sylvee, why couldn’t she be on the team? Because Reid would be competing for three girls. That’s why. “I thought she would…” Lucille nods, “The snow witch seems very fashionable. Wait! Wait her family owns Heart Kreuze?” Lucille grabs Toby, “No way! I thought she looked familiar! She’s the girl in the book things with all the outfits!” Lucille makes this realization and knocks on her head, “I knew she was pretty, but I never thought she was... Oh dammit! Kari and an actual model are my rivals. I need to drink more milk…” Lucille mutters as she walks into the store, hoping now to buy something alluring. Her ear catches Kari and Toby’s conversation, “My eye is not a weakness! I’ve trained to have up to 87% perfect vision all the time, with Aura I can boost that to nearly 98%, I’m just a tiny bit depth deprived but Kari is far ranged so I’ve got nothing to worry about, you know!” Lucille calls back, “I’ll win out sparring bout for sure! But it’s nothing personal I swear!”

"Snow witch? Why is Mira a snow witch? And I'm a model too you know." She pulls out a magazine page that had a picture of herself, dressed like an eskimo, and surrounded by a dozen similarly dressed guys. It was a little difficult to tell that it was her given that her face was slightly obscured by the big poofy hood and her profile was absorbed entirely by the outfit. "See-wait, rivals? But I thought-" Toby placed the tips of her fingertips together. "you were pursuing Reid. Are you trying to make brother jealous by behaving so intimately with Reid? That's- I mean, I know as one of your BFs I should take your side, but that's like way uncool."
((If by liberty you mean calling Mira a model, that's fine. I honestly can't remember if I had stated that explicitly yet or not.))

Karin: wait no no no! I'm not- ugh it's not like that and Lucy you should know this me and Reid are just friends!...( she looks at the picture) wow your a model? Your family is filled with incredible people isn't it?...wait Lucy when did me as Mira beco,e rivals...I mea Reid's my friend but I don't thik he's that popular?

Reid: ( he sits in the hot springs) ahhhh...you could just feel the muscles relaxing...and by spare I meant just usea pillow?

boy with a tail: ( bursts into the house) REID I heard you came back loser where are you!?!...( he becomes looking all over the house)

Farrah: yeah he better mean just that or else!...*sigh* I'll meet you guys after the hot spring dip I have to clean up Alittle bit (she walks off to take a Shower when she hears the boy shouting) oh great that idiot stopped by now

“Oh the snow witch has that look in her eye all the time. I mean it’s like stink eye, but… more condescending.” Lucille shrugs, “She’s also really mean to me. And we’ve fought. Twice. Yet to punch her in her face yet. But you’re misunderstanding rivals, and rivals in love. Kari is soooo not a rival in love. Nor is Mira, they have their men, well kinda, they’re both not the best pursuers. Farrah is the only one without a man so far, but as Ariadust’s strongest female, and battle princess, I have to be the best at everything! And my rivals are prettier than me…” She shakes her head, pressing her tongue against her cheek, “Uggh you two are so dense, rivals in love and rivals in combat are different!” She crosses her arms, making an X shape. “Kari and the snow witch are fighting rivals, I mean Lauren too I guess, but I think I’m prettier than her, not that she’s not pretty, but she’s cool more than pretty.” Lucille looks at some clothing, grabbing matching sets, “Hey! Um Toby…er… Kari too, could you help me get popular clothing…?” Lucille shyly shuffles her feet.

Karin: ( she smiles teasingly) you want to look popular?....well alright then! Come on Toby come help me out! Don't worry Lucy we'll help you pick out nice and new outfits allright then your looking for new and popular outfits hmmm

"Well, popular is kind of vague. I mean, there's popular princess, popular goth, popular super, and those are just a few of the most popular styles of popular clothing." Toby sighed as she looked between two different pairs of shoes. Mira's really the expert on this sort of thing. "Lucy, just how committed are you to dressing in a popular fashion?"

“Popular Super? That sounds awesome!” Lucille smiles and nods rushing over to her and Karin, “Kari if you keep teasing me I’ll get you back.” Lucille says biting her lower lip. She grabs Toby’s hands “I’m as committed as I can be I guess, I mean I won’t be a model- that’s a lie, I would totally be a model, how is modeling?” Lucille’s eyes sparkle as she thinks it over, “I mean is it like glamorous? I think I’m pretty enough… is it about being pretty? I mean all the book thingies I saw hard pretty girls and boys. Tall boys too sometimes.” Lucille shrugs, “Kari! Are you going to get something special to show off to Sylvee?” Lucille winks.

"No no, not Popular Super. It's Popular" Toby put the backs of her wrists together and stretched them out as far as possible over her head. "Super! And of course that's what you want. That's what I'm wearing!" She started holding clothes up to see how they would look on Lucille. "Modeling was fun, a lot of work and the photographer took forever trying to decide on what we should all wear and how to stand, but it was fun." When Lucille started asking Karin about showing off for Sylvester she put fingers in her ears and hurried away going, "Lalalalalalala." Nope! Not listening to this!

Karin: hm? ( she blushes) n-n-no I didn't think hmm maybe? I'll think about it right now were focusing on you Lucy popular super here we come ( she picks out several outfits for Lucille to try on) hmm he you'd look cute in this..

Yahiro: hot springs got it!

Farrah: streak come here boy it's time for breakfast! ( streak immediately runs down the stairs and over to Farrah as she feeds him)

Reid: did you fall back asleep Sylvester?...Ah! Your gonna die if you sleep here no no no wake up wake up!

Lucille laughs as Toby runs off with her fingers in her ears. Would I be like that if Aidan was around? If he liked someone. I wonder… How would he feel about Reid… about Ariadust. Would he be happy where I am, or would we be making angels in the snow… Lucille bites her lower lip and looks at the clothes Kari has picked out for her. “Hey, um… Kari-er… Karin, I think I got this. If you really like Sylvester, then you’ll have to win over his family. Every last one of them. I don’t know how many you met, but you can start with his sister.” She winks and smiles, “Love doesn’t wait for everyone. Love favors the bold. She favors the brave. She favors the ones that lose sparring matches.” Lucille adds with a smile, “So be bold, brave, and I swear if you punch me in the face later today I’ll bite you.”

Sylvester's aura flared and pushed both Reid and the waters away from Sylvester. "Relax Reid." He stated and continued to rest his head back down on the towel that sat on the edge of the hot spring. "I was thinking." Sylvester opened his eyes and sat up as his aura gave way to allow the waters to rush back around him, well mostly they got stopped by a secondary layer. "Jeanne wants me to master multi-layered defensive aura this weekend." He created another couple layers trapping water between them, and then he compressed and expanded the layers. "And you know how when I arrived a week ago I carried a spear with me? Well, the reason I stopped is one my spear got destroyed and two Jeanne says weapons are unreliable. But I am a lot better with a lance, glaive, trident, or whatever than I am unarmed. Hence why I refer to myself as a lancer. You want to help me see if I can make two-layered weapon strikes work as well as unarmed ones?"

"Not super! Super!" Toby shouted to correct Karin from the far side of the store. Maybe this? Or this? Ooh, these boots would be fantastic with that. Or maybe a pair of pumps with this?

Reid: hm? Yeah okay sure why not I can help you out but you said your spear was destroyed so shouldn't you get your hands on a new one before that..but if you really want my help then sure I'll give it my best shot..you would also need an extremely durable spear to withstand that kind of attack as well right?

Karin:it- it's not like we're really a couple or anything so I'm not gonna rush into anything...I mean I am getting a
One with Toby as is but I'm taking it one step at the time...( she stretches as she cracks her back) *yawn* anyway Toby find anything good! ( she yells over to Toby) and if you say you got this then you got this right? And hey just because you say so doesn't mean I'm gonna lose I'm gonna give it everything I have!

"I wonder about that." After a few seconds Sylvester clarified. "I mean, yes an extremely durable spear would be great, but ultimately I need one that's receptive of my aura, if I do it right." He splashed the water a bit, "I'll ask Farrah if she'll make me one later, for the testing a wooden stick should be sufficient, don't you think?" Sylvester jumped out of the hotspring, "Come on. Y'all have some staves and wooden man targets around here somewhere, yeah?"

"Nearly." She replied. I've got like 90% of four outfits.

“Oh you’re gonna lose not cuz’ I say so, but because the law of the best. You might be able to beat me in beauty and in-” Lucille notices Karin has walked away and sighs returning to the dressing room. “Oh wow, I should have gone shopping with them instead of Reid.” Lucille laughs as she models the clothing, “But if I buy all of them… hmmm…” Lucille continues to try out the outfits, “Hey!” Lucille changed back into her original outfit and speeds through the store, making it to the girls in seconds, “I…” She smiles, “I can only buy one outfit from each of you since Reid picked out an outfit, it wouldn’t be fair to him if I let you girls pick more than he did, you know?” That’s logical right? Oh whatever, I mean I kinda was just looking at what Toby was looking at and Kari picked out so much clothes. Lucille smiles widely, “This is really fun shopping with you two, you know?”

Reid: ( he gets out of the hot spring) yeah we having wooden sparing dummies and staves come on follow me ( he changes back into his gi in the changing room once he finishes drying off) I know you said a wooden stick would be sufficient but the staves here are alittle more than just a wooden stick you should use atleast one thats weighted similar to a spear ( he grabs a short cylinder off of the wall as he walks with Sylvester to the back of the house and there's a small training course and there is enough space for sparing and the like ) hold on I think... Oh right right ( after a loud click the cylinder expands outward forming a Bo staff) we have a bunch of sparing dummies for the students to practice on so you can use them as well

Yahiro: I found y-( he runs over to Reid and gets hit by the expanding staff) ah! Ow....( he holds his face) what the hell was tht for jerk!

Reid: hmm oh your here?...you should of been more careful ( he walks over and hands Sylvester the staff)...how's that? This good enough?

Yahiro: don't just ignore me!

Reid: shut up! ( he looks over his shoulder) I'm in the middle of explaining something wait your turn!

Yahiro: yeesh thisnis how you greet your friends?

Reid: just you

Karin: hmmm only one outfit huh? That's cute..I'm okay with that just pick the outfit you like best Lucy and of course it's fun shopping with us girls were themes who actually know how to enjoy shopping

Sylvester put his black gi on as well. He moved about slowly, testing the weight of the staff. "Yeah, this should be good." He collapsed the staff again and shook the newcomer's hand. "Hi, I'm Sylvester. Nice to meet you." Sylvester walked over and picked out one of the dummies. "Ok, I'm going to show you what I can do unarmed first, observe carefully please." He unleashed a kata upon it and finished with a two-layered kick that took off the top of the dummy and shattered it into ribbons. "Ok, that was alright. Now let's try this." Sylvester extended the staff again and performed a similar kata on the remainder except with the staff this time he finished with a two-layered slash that cut through the dummy. He examined the staff and flicked the tip a couple times. "What did I do wrong?" He turned to his friend, "Reid, you notice anything?"

Reid: well hmm( he looks at the damage from the dummy)...your having a problem changing that technique from an unarmed one to using it with a weapon...the problem is that technique is meant to be used of your unarmed...but it shouldn't be impossible...I'm afraid I don't really know how the technique works but after getting nearly beaten to death by your teacher I have a pretty good idea ( he smiles jokingly) how about...you make a slight adjustment hey I have an idea concentrate all of your Aura into the tip of the staff in one point where your striking?

Yahiro: ( he sits up and stands next to Reid as he examines Sylvester's fighting style) hmmm yeah actually that's a good idea also results don't come right away

Reid: well he's right...what are you even doing here

Yahiro; what I heard you were back in town I came back too so I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out man

Reid: maybe later but I'm really busy right now

Yahiro: let me help out!

Reid: just dont be annoying...( he turns to face Sylvester) yeah how about you try focusing your aura into a single point Infact no even better treat the staff as an extension of your aura you know how you strike with your fists for a strike think of your staff that way?

Karin: so do you two want to grab lunch afterwards maybe? Or onto the sparring match

That's unhelpful what does he think I'm doing? Well, like he said, he doesn't know how the technique works. I shouldn't have wasted both of our's time. Sylvester thought to himself. "Alright, I'll try that. Y'all can go do whatever. I'll just be figuring this out, if you see Farrah. tell her I want to discuss her making me a weapon." Sylvester drew the staff back and stabbed it into the next dummy. Maybe the discharge isn't fast enough, the extra distance might be affecting it more than I thought, but why is it cutting? Perhaps the aura I'm infusing it with to strengthen it is interacting weird with the two-layers? Let's try it without the reinforcement. The target was blasted away that time, but that end of the staff was destroyed as well. Sylvester held it up to his eye, examining the destroyed weapon. "Ok, I guess that's progress. I'm going to need more sticks."

"LUNCH!" Toby cheered as she rejoined the other two, her arms were full of bags. "Don't worry, most of these are for you." She said reassuringly to Lucille.

“Lunch is so right.” Lucille says grabbing some clothes Karin and she picked out and putting away the rest, “W-wait what?” Lucille turns to face Toby, “You didn’t have to do that for me! I mean if anything, you should buy Kari clothes, you know?” She says sighing. “Not that I won’t accept them, I mean Kari’s more developed than me, so if you bought them for me she probably would just burst through them.” Lucille teases, dancing around the two to purchase her new outfit. “Wait a sec, I’ll just buy this and then we can go to eat!” Lucille smiles and waves her hand, “I got lunch ladies!” She announces before turning to face the same person she met before with Reid, she pulls out her bundled up money and hands it to him once more. “Is this enough?” Lucille asks, unsure of how much she has and how much the clothes is actually worth.
