Like I said, if there was proof of the fact that Sora and Haseo were the same, it'd be in the games, not a supplemental book.

As long as it's possible, though, they're allowed to do it. It doesn't matter if it doesn't seem very likely, it's fiction. There's no real contradiction here, aside from his appearances in Unison (which doesn't quite seem to be canon) and Udeden (ok, this is a problem, but half the other people appearing at the end make no sense either). That might all be the work of Net Slum Sora, though...

Of all the new-name cameos, Yata is the only one who's specifically confirmed by the games. And even that is sorta subtle. The games are made so that anyone can enjoy them, and that's presumably why they didn't go into history too much. Moreover, if this is true, how the heck would that come into play in the games? Haseo doesn't remember anything, and as plenty of people have pointed out, his personality is way too different for anyone to recognize him. There's no conceivable way they could work it in, except maybe as some sort of inner-mind reconciliation with his past self... Oh...

The amnesia thing is ridiculous, but not much more than half the other stuff in .hack... I mean, they beat Cubia, all bets are off. This will never bother me more than Mireille.

I'm sorry, but unless it's specifically stated in the game or a direct source (not some unreliable fanbook) that Haseo is Sora. I'm not going to believe it. There's a lot of crazy theories out there, but this one takes the cake.

IF Atoli Was Terajima Ryoko I would drop tabby in a heartbeat to bad though Terajima Ryoko was 16 back in IMOQ so that would make her 23 during GU Atoli like what 15 now

I disagree that it causes problems, but I agree that there was zero reason to do it and it fits very, very awkwardly into the plot.

Like what? There already was a random Sora AI in the games, and memory loss is possible. It's hard to swallow, but actually less so than the Taihaku=Balmung thing, and no one had trouble with that... The personality difference is almost completely explained by the difference in being 10 years old and 17...
