You learn your Arts Skills by increasing your profficiency with the weapon.
You can check your level of profficiency in the Status page.
10 is the max in Vol. 1, but depending on how far you are in the story, It may be stuck at 5.
You gain levels in this by using the skills you have, gaining more with a rengeki and gaining as much as you can by doing counter-attacks in the arena.
The skills you get for dual swords are : Gale Blade, Sparrow Counter, Sword Dance, and Tri-Strike.
The skills you get for the broadsword are : Tiger Blitz, Twin Moons, Armor Pierce, and Bone Crusher.

For Haseo I think they come at Weapon levels 3,5,and 7

I need to find a human female that's under Joanna and above Aleneor. It's the last one I need so does anyone know who she is and where to find her because I've already spent a lot of time looking... @_@

Her name is Ruby, you can find her in Lumina Cloth if you check there, log out then log back in again repeatedly.

hey, so ive done everything in the game (avatar re-battles, etc.) except for completing the mecha chim some of those extended quests. why cant i get the abyss quest?

The Abyss Quest starts off with a post on one of the forums about a treasure chest that you can't open.

Your broadsword is fine, the twin blade has been up for discussion though.

if u go to kestral's shop, they have a broadsword that has backstab. it actually ups your attack.

there are also shop that sell the "bear's paw" in mac anu i think it's about 6500 or something...

The attack boost only takes place when you literally backstab, meaning you attack an opponent from behind. I imagine this also means surprise attacks have a harder impact.

yes, it also mean that you HAVE to bring parties, just to attract the enemy attention and backstab them from behind...

um...i usually solo-ed, and you can still attract enemies. it works either way, but a party could be more usefull

For the Spin Gai Gu(Twin Blades) Go to (Fly Away Marble's Pin Wheel) When you get there go straight from the starting point (<------) to a room with 3 chests in it. Two of those chests are Trap Chests which CAN RANDOMLY have Spin Gai Gu in them.
If you want Broad Legged fight Fever Horse's, one location they can be found at is (Graceful Wrath's Shadow)

Don't know why you want to go out of your way but:
I got dustproof lenses from the leviathan ( he gives either olm shells, dust lenses, or both) at Creeping Leading Two Wings
You can get mind eggs from barrels in a bunch of places, last I have written down is Paling Superior Berserker

Hey all, I need a little help with the Animal campaign. I've found every single animal on the list but my record is stuck at 48/50, and even though I've been out and kicked some more animals, it won't go up anymore. Can anyone tell me what I should be doing to make it go up again?

The "quest" is finished as soon as you talk with him after seeing all the lucky animals.
You will not get the key item again that records your play data regarding lucky animal encounters till the next game when there will be more.
