Zorlo scoffed. "I could have taken those jokers if I wanted to," he stated, his pride still not quite having recovered. "ANyway, why are you here? You and I have no more business talking than you and I would have dating," Zorlo stated flatly as he stared at her. "Anyway, where is your pet? Is he hiding somewhere nearby, or did you snip him and leave him to die?" Zorlo asked venomously as he stared at the woman.

Re: Medusa Academy
"I'm your squad leader." The woman kept her eyes on him without flinching. "My provider is doing what he needs to do. It should matter more how you're going to handle the situation. I will have to discuss with your sparring pair as well about the rather rash way they obtained their victory." She started to stand up. "You both barely passed."

Re: Medusa Academy
"You're aware I don't care. The fact you came here to tell me that crap is bothersome enough, but slinging accusation at me pisses me off even more! Learn to keep that crap-" Zorlo raised his voice as the door opened.
The red-haired boy bumbled in before falling on his face, into a tray of food. The other tray he carried was fine, but slid towards Noriko's feet. "Ow…" he stated with a sad sigh.
"HOly crap… he's real. I'd heard he was a rumor, that you were some kind of super soldier who was provider and receiver. Seems your reputation isn't quite as real as you it seems?" he asked smugly.

Re: Medusa Academy
"I don't need to discuss my personal matters or how my Provider works." She picked up the tray and looked towards Zachary for a moment. "For now, rest up for the day. She should be able to move around in about half an hour to get back to the dorm. Keep an eye on her so she doesn't do anything unnecessary." She walked towards Zachary and offered a hand up. She knew he was trying his best, but part of her wondered if he planned being clumsy sometimes.

Re: Medusa Academy
"Ow, ow, ow," Zachary stated as he sat up and picked up his food. Looking like a wounded dog, he sighed. HIs mashed potatoes were ruined and his soup had partly spilled. She helped him up and he sighed. "Sorry about that," he said as he retreated back into himself, moving with her out of the room.
Zorlo rose from his bed and stood over So-Hee. "I can't keep letting you down. I'll work harder… just please don't give up on me," he stated as he took her hand that didn't have the IV and sighed. "Why did I fail you today of all days. You could have done what you've worked so hard to do. Instead we have to work with the likes of her," he said as he indicated Noriko… mostly to himself.

Re: Medusa Academy
It was sluggish, So-Hee noting that she was feeling energy. However, it wasn't the usual energy. It was the type of energy that felt almost like medicine that took forever to work. She must have overdone the amount of energy she used again. She opened her eyes and started to look around. "Did we..." She asked, focusing to look at the person next to her. It must have been Zorlo. "Did we pass?"

Re: Medusa Academy
"Only if you consider having to take orders from Noriko, that wench, passing. Apparently we're not trustworthy enough to manage our own affairs," the man stated as he leaned near So-Hee. "I wanted to say I'm sorry," he told her, resting his forehead against hers. "If I had been stronger… better, you'd be well on your way to where you belong. Sadly for you and I… I DIDN'T manage that level of skill. I hope you can forgive me one day," he said as he felt his heartache spread and his eyes tear.
Removing his glasses, he let himself cry some. Pain… he felt pained. It annoyed him.

Re: Medusa Academy
So-Hee moved enough so she was sitting up with help. She kept hold of his hand, not saying anything. There wasn't much else one could do in this situation. As much as pairs were destined for each other... Combat wasn't as dependable. She moved his head down to her lap as a nurse came in, starting to remove the IV. She nodded, giving So-Hee the sign they could leave when she felt she was able to move properly.

Re: Medusa Academy
Zorlo propped her up and held her ready. "I'll bring you back to your room. After that, we'll figure out what to do. If we're taking orders from Noriko… I'll have to figure out how I can handle that," he told her, brushing a finger against her cheek softly. He was staring at her more than was normal… something had changed in him today… and he wasn't quite sure what. Perhaps it was he had shared with her… he now understood her pains and difficulties… and how similar they were.
"I want you to get some rest," he stated with a smile.

Re: Medusa Academy
"We'll figure something out." So-Hee's voice was soft as she moved carefully. She hated the artificial energy because it made it harder to use properly. Of course, it wasn't meant for use in battle. It was only used for medical emergencies. She continued to walk, her mind carefully focusing to make sure she could use it as efficiently as she had to at the moment. "I'm sure she's just worried about our well being as a pair. Though, I think sometimes everyone is worried too much about everyone else."

Re: Medusa Academy
"It's part of what people go through. After all, with everyone having a bonded person, its hard to tell if people are together because of their bond, or because they want to be. Robert's mind tells me that he's sometimes annoyed with his option, but he's clearly the person to help poor Allen. WE all do what we can do," the man stated firmly as he brushed his hand against her cheek. "For now though, forget about combat. Worry about it when we start missions. For now, rest," he said as he rested a hand on her back and whispered something in her ear. SOmething that he felt he needed to say before he began to walk away with a sigh. He had to get back to his room.

Re: Medusa Academy
'He could have had someone of a better performance than me, but he still...' Her mind was relaxed as she started to remove her uniform and place on more casual clothes. She had to at least do that or she wouldn't rest as well. She knew that if she even remotely tried to study like usual, he'd probably stop her. She moved towards the bed and placed the sheet and blanket over. 'I have to work hard to be able to support him properly...' She closed her eyes, doing her best to fall asleep fast.

"No, Allen that was all you. You won." Robert congratulated as he placed his hands on the injuries and got rid of them. "I would have called her stubborn, but strong-willed works too." Robert draped his coat over Allen's shoulders. "Ok, you should be good to go. Let's head back to the room so you don't catch cold. Unless you just want to watch the others."

Re: Medusa Academy
“You did your part too. I know you’re being nice because I don’t win often, but we’re a team. If I win you win… and if I lose, you lose too. But today we won.” Allen smiled widely. Allen nestled himself into the coat, “Nah, I think I’ll go back, I have to change my bandages anyway.” Allen mentioned, turning to face Lucie and Toni. “I’ll tell you how it goes!” Lucie smiled and waved as Toni shrugged. “I’m bored. I think I’ll go… goof off. Congrats on the win Allen. You looked great out there.” Allen was shocked to hear a compliment, but it was short lived.
Once the pair arrived at the dorm. Allen returned Robert’s coat and walked off into his room. “I’m gonna get changed and shower and stuff.” Allen smiled faintly. “Are we gonna stay here until those two meet us for the study party?” Allen walked into his room and left the door open. He searched for his regular clothing and a new pair of boots. Sitting in his closet was Billy, where Allen usually sat in moments of duress and fear. Allen nearly screamed, but he knew Robert would not see Billy. He slammed the door shut and ran into the bathroom, turning the shower on. Steam filled the room and seemed to block Allen’s vision. Allen struggled to enter the shower, and once so he noticed the water was not hot enough to steam as much as it did. Allen was breathing heavily, when two slender hands wrapped around him. “Toni!” Allen shrieked and pressed up against the wall. “What are you doing in here? G-Get out!” Allen cried.

Re: Medusa Academy
They may not be feeling up to it. Robert thought to himself, "We'll go ahead and get started without them." He shouted and started setting up to just study with Allen, well more like tutor Allen, he had a few grades on him after all, he just went to class with his partner because incidents like that morning tended to happen. Robert worked by himself and periodically dropped packets off to be graded and took the odd exam by himself, the arrangement suited him just fine.
When he heard the scream he came running. "Toni. Go piss off ya wanker."

Re: Medusa Academy
A knock lightly impacted the door, Noriko standing with a paper in front of her. She had a list of things to do in regards to her new supposed squad. Of course, if she managed to get through the year with the group in tact, they'd be in the West Dorm and reassigned. She waited, closing her eyes as she turned towards Zachary. "Have you finished your report?" She asked, one of the ways she showed concern.

"Its been done for narrow two days,' he responded, blushing slightly. "I'm always ahead of schedule, you know that? I turned it in earlier today even," he said as he moved around nervously. "Anyway, go show 'em what's what!" he told her with a smile.

"I'm going to go get the door. It could be them. Allen, just breathe. In, and out, in, and out. Very good. Just focus on that." He hurried to the door. He was apologizing when he opened the door. "Sorry, Toni was giving Allen a- Oh, Ms. Ito. Please come in. You too Zach." He left the door open for them and turned to a cup of instant coffee he had started brewing. "I take it we had the misfortune of passing this year? And you of being assigned us?" He offered Noriko a cup while he sipped his own. "Fair warning, if you want me to do something, ask don't order."

"I'm fully aware of your situation." She spoke entering and allowing Zach to close the door. "There are concerns that the proctors saw during your battle." She closed her eyes and spoke with clarity. "The risk of your team destroying your allies and enemies at the same time is going to be a problem. As much as I know you are doing your best to control it, the situations will not always be so merciful."

Re: Medusa Academy
The heavy steam cleared from the bathroom and with it Toni disappeared, Allen stood in the shower, his hand to his chest. “T-thank you Robert…” Allen whispered as he returned to his shower. Allen slowly let himself relax in the shower. He had not activated today, and if he could keep that true, he would love to go the day without ever having activated. “Yep, you go on ahead. I’ll make it out of this.” Allen let the warm water soothe his muscles and aches. While he was not injured, or particularly fatigued, a shower helped eliminate even the feelings associated with a hard battle. Allen earned this.
Allen exited the shower in his regular clothes, he casually walked into the center of the room, ignoring the pair. Only when she didn’t say anything hurtful to him did Allen take a second to glance upon her. He knew he recognized her face. “Oh… is she the girl who gets really good grades?” Allen whispered standing close to Robert. Once more, his eye was bandaged. “And that’s the guy who’s a provider but he might be stronger than most Receivers?” Allen pointed at the two as he addressed them. “Why are they here? We almost never get visitors. Well… just the handful.” Allen sighs, ruffling his hair.
