Raph coughed and wiped the blood from his mouth. "Nicolai. Suiting. Destroying the damned are you?" Raph's voice seemed to meld into two, one demonic, and one beautiful. "Do it. Kill me."

Dex shrugged. Not his fault the vampire was suicidal. "Might I by any chance recieve my hands back?" His wings appeared once more but flickered away. Horus. Horus always did that. "I mean. I can't let you keep them forever."

Revy: I guess following them was a good idea { he appears and grabs Nicolai's Shoulder and tosses him flying as nicolai lands perfectly on his feet} would you mind to quit the bickering children it quite annoying { he holds up his hand with his hood still up} now I don't know much about you but the boy has not become a souless monster { he looks over his shoulder} though if you don't learn to control youself I'll let this guy kill you { he keeps one eye on Nicolai}

Lumina looked back at Raphael as he spoke, momentarily caught by his new voice. Arietta, on the other hand, bristled a little as she moved back with Lumina while the girl was distracted by the Vampiric voice. It was good they did as Revy appeared from nowhere to toss Nicolai, a reoccurring theme for that day. "Who...?"

"A vampire," Arietta answered immediately as she noticed Revy's scent, which was similar to Raphael's new scent. The extra weight shifting in her skirt reminded her of Dex as she looked to him. "Hey, come get your hand off of me already. this is slightly creepy even for me," Arietta said as she sat Lumina down to rest and pulled the hand from her skirt pockets..

He reattached his hands and pecked Arietta on the cheek "Thanks love." Raphael reached up, grabbed the other vampire by the throat and lifted him off the ground. "Don't touch my friends" He growled in his normal voice. "I'm a monster now because of peope like YOU! I even hurt the one person who thinks any good of me. Get the **** OUT OF MY LIFE!" He slammed revy into the ground.

Scarm, wandered through the building to the terrace. "Hehe...Westher. You think you are controlling me...But it is I whom controls you. And once the Daylighter is on our side. I WILL rule the world. And Westher shall bow to me! Just as I do him"

That thing's a good actor, but it's not him. But it has given me the perfect opportunity. Nicolai sprinted towards Raph and Revy, but after two steps he fell to the ground. To everyone else it was as if Nicolai had stumbled and fallen to the dirt, the exhaustion finally catching up to him. For him he had another flashback. To before the funeral, the duel once more. He was facing Wailing Artillery, the pale and ghostly perversion of his friend Singing Ordnance. Things had gone slightly differently than Nicolai had thought. Ordnance was a dawn caste, she was designed for warfare, and he was just a Zenith caste, a priest who was also a skilled warrior. Artillery disarmed him, knocked him to the ground, and then held her blade over his throat at that moment her new master made himself known. A Deathlord strode through the ranks of the undead army to join the pair in the dueling circle. When he commanded Artillery to finish him off she smiled that sweet smile that Nicolai knew so well. He thought it was a taunt, especially when her cannon appeared in her hands. And then she fired, not at him but at the Deathlord instead. While her would be master had thwarted the attack roughly half the undead army was obliterated. She offered Nicolai her hand and lifted him to his feet. Together they did battle against the Deathlord, alas she ultimately fell but the day was theirs.

Revy: { he gets up} I'm trying to help you here....it seems as though you have the wrong idea about me { he crack his kneck} this is why I hate newbornes so irrational would u just listen for one second! { he dodges an attack} jeez so wild { lifts his knee to deflect an attack harming Raphs arm} now then { he grabs raphs hurt arm} CALM THE **** DOWN! { he drags him across the ground as he throws his soaring across the cemetary as he looks at lumina} sorry about this I know he special to you and { he looks to arietta} i'm not so sure to you but sorry anyway{ he keeps his eye on Raph}

"Nicolai! Raph!" Lumina tried move and found herself unable. She jerked and this time noticed the almost invisible arcane chains on her. "Arietta, what is this?! Why-"

"Because I don't want you running in the middle of this and getting hurt!" Arietta almost snapped back to Lumina's surprise. "You always think of other first, put them before you. Even now, almost Dizzy from Blood loss, you want to go help Raphael and Nicolai, right?" Lumina didn't answer. It didn't need answering. "Well I'm stepping in to make you put yourself first. Here." She handed Lumina the half-eaten piece of 'bread'. You need to recover so eat. I'll take care of Nicolai. Raphael is a Vampire now. That won't hurt him much," she said as she nodded to Revy, showing he wasn't ignored here. "Hey Dex, didn't you say you wanted to talk to Lumina?" the Kitsune asked as she popped over to Nicolai to see what was wrong.

Nicolai's breathing was slow and steady and all other indications made it appear as though he were simply asleep. Despite this his arm was still tense, holding fast to Twilight Paradox, and both the aura and caste mark were still burning brightly around him and upon his brow.

Westher sat upon his throne, bored. He had hoped to spend more time playing with that little 'envoy' from Creation and the daylighter, but he had other matters to attend to. Like keeping tabs on and thwarting all those little cretins who secretly wanted to depose him. So he'd just have to leave it to Dex, for now.

Scarm Held out his hand and an orb flashed and then disappeared. The Orb of Bak was in his possesion. Bak being Westher's true name. "This. With this I can enslave the whole upperland! I will rule as God-Emporer!"

Dex went to Lumina's side, "The only way to become a vampire is to Ingest Vampire blood after being bitten. You should be fine. Newborns like Raphael have more strength than any vampire, Since his heart hasn't completely stopped yet. What's worse though was the possession. Vampires are a mix between Demon, and Half Angel. And that means that they are a gateway to the living. A demon may be INSIDE your boyfriend. Slowly taking over his mind."

Arietta Knelt down next to Nicolai, touching him on the shoulder. "I've never seen someone just... fall asleep like that. Mid run too... This isn't right..." Arietta said to herself as she reached out and gently shook his shoulder, watchful of that blade of his. She was worried about it power per se, as she was a 'Spirit Fox' not a 'Demon Fox' and so Twilight Paradox and Nicolai auras wouldn't hurt her. Rather, she was watchful of the fact that Twilight Paradox was a Magical Weapon, so could inflict serious damage on ever her Spiritual Form.

"What..?" Lumina looked at Dex in disbelief before looking to Raphael. "Is that why he attacked me then? And why his voice... changed...so dramatically?" Lumina asked. She could hear Nicolai's words again and they made an odd sense now. It was Raphael but it wasn't. He attacked her, true, but he let go almost immediately when she said he was hurting her. Raphael was still there. She looked back to Dex, still feeling that she was bound to the chair though her arms were more or less free. "So, how would we remove it? What would we need to do?" she asked.

"End his life. That would be the best way." Of course it wasn't the only way. Just the fastest. Raphael was already in a conflict. He wanted to kill, but wanted to not inflict harm. Raphael would be consumed by the demon in time. And then Westher would own the Daylighter. It would be war from there on.

Lumina gave the Mummy a dirty, hateful look. It was a rather surprising look from someone so nice. "Why does everyone want to just kill Raphael!? What is wrong with all of you!?" Lumina snapped at him. All of this... Everything just seemed to have finally cracked her. Tears ran down her face though she still glared hatefully. "Is it really too hard for you all to help someone instead of just killing them and being done with it?!? Can you try to help someone and not just take the easy way out for once?!?" she all but yelled before stopping and beginning to take deep breathes to try and calm herself. She hated getting mad, being mad. Anger just didn't go well with her system.

Nicolai placed his hand over Arietta's. "If that's what You wanted to show me then why didn't You just do that in the first place?" He opened his eyes and smiled up at her, squeezing her hand lightly. "Y'know worried isn't a good look for you Ordie. Sorry, Arietta." There was a calm in his voice that hadn't been there before, "My mere presence shakes the very souls of every denizen of Hell and look at me getting taken out by a little sleep deprivation. Here, give me a hand." Twilight Paradox disappeared and with her help he got back up to his feet. He looked from Lumina's tear stained face to Dex to Raph and Revy. "Dex, keep her safe or I'll move you up on my list of priorities." He kept an arm around Arietta for support and the pair moved quickly over to Raph and Revy. He grabbed Revy by the arm with one hand and tossed him into the middle of the golden circle atop Raph's grave. "That's for earlier." The circle flared with renewed vigor and would hold him in there, for the next few minutes at least. And then he slammed his fist into Raph's gut. Searing golden flames erupted from Raph's eyes and mouth. He held up a forestalling hand as Lumina started to yell some more. "Relax Lumina. I haven't killed him-whoah." He'd have fallen over if not for Arietta. "I can't say for sure he will survive this. It is a trial by The Unconquered Sun's holy fire and honestly I'm not sure what I just did, but I do know he has better odds than he did before. If the flames go out Raph should be the only one left in there. If they consume the body, well we're already here."

Revy: GAH! { he struggles to move as he glares at Nicolai}......dammit let me go!!!!! { he starts struggling more} Tch....why would you use the unconquered sun's Holy fire..surely you must know the odds of him surviving are slim...whats next you gonna try to kill me too? { after 10 minutes he finally manages to break free} ARGH! { he shatters the magic as he pats his coat clearing it of dust}.....for your sake this better work....i'm not threatening you that girl over there would probablly be pissed

Nicolai stood in front of Revy, while he is still in the circle, replying, "You think that repeating what I say makes you knowledgeable? You know nothing about the Unconquered Sun nor his chosen. Save that I am anathema to you and your kin. There's no way you could. I am the only Exalted to have left Creation and come here. And it's because of one of you that he's like this. Do you really want to give me more of a reason to end your miserable existence?" Surprising himself, Nicolai turned away from Revy without removing the vampire's head.

Revy: oh you the exalted one! hahahaha well pardon me...there buddy boy!.....I've been around for awhile so I have learned a few things or so ever here of a book ...dont go grouping me together i'm afraid that you mistaken about me...what you think I hunt humans don't compare me to them! I'm nothing like them!...dont test me I've been around since before u were in diapers u little **** I may be of the same species vampire blood may flow through my veins but that doesnt mean I hunt humans I hate vampires but what I hate more is self righteous hunters like yourself you've left creation bah! I never asked for a story of your...because of one mistake you think you should wipe out an entire race you have no right to be called an exalted { a magic circle appears in the palm of his hand as he cancels out the magic with his own and he breaks free from the circle as he steps back a few feet to avoid any sort of attack and he notices nicolais glare}.... whats the matter not used to one talking back to u.....look you don't have to like me I dont even care about you I only showed up to stop this kid from losing his humanitty if he fed it would of been all over noone should have to suffer like I have once you feed you can't ever take back what you've lost the feeling of a human life....why the hell did u think I fought him rather then hunting that human girl right there eh?

Dex shrugged. "The only person who could really say, would be another vampire. And besides, I'm not a Demon or any of the like, Therefore, I am not a downworlder, Therefore It's against the law for me to be harmed if I do not attack first." Raphael spoke again. This time however three voices were intertwined. His own. The Demons. And an Angel's. "I Am The Holster. Bow Or be Destroyed!"

Scarm Waddled through the keep in a low hush. His place was by Westher. His Place, was the holder of Earth. His Place, was the controller of Darkness. And The Darkness was soon to come.

Revy: * damn the holster...if only I had my full powers back dammit...if I had my powers back i could atleast fight him on even ground* { he can sense the emmense pressure coming from Raphael} Tch damn

Nicolai just listened to Revy. Maybe that's why I disn't just kill him. Well that and he's the first one that I haven't met through a string of murders. And if he speaks the truth then there's some hope for Raph. Either way, I have a more immediate concern. Nicolai stepped away from Arietta and tossed his keys to Revy. "You and Dex get the girls out of here. I'll deal with this." Or at least buy you some time was left unspoken. Whatever this is beyond very not good.

Nicolai stood directly in front of The Holster. "I am Nicolai, Zenith caste Chosen of the Unconquered Sun. And I bow to nothing and no one. Just try to destroy me." Twilight Paradox appeared in one hand and a suit of golden armor complete with a shield bearing a blazing sun formed from Nicolai's essence.

The Holster flicked its wrist and brought the boy to Eye Level. "I am Always here." It Screeched. "You can take the boy back soon. But know Nicolai Son of Angels that I will Always Be there. Inside the Boy." The Holster then looked int Niolai's eyes. Showing the Pure Terror of Hell in one. And the Beauty of Heaven in the other. No room for Raphael's own sight.
