IMO the female storyline is fan-service. Especially for the fan-girls. Most of the fan-girls I know IRL squealed when they heard the female MC could be in a relationship with Akihiko

Yeah thats what I figured. Ill most likely just stick with the FES version of the game anyways. No real incentive to play through as a female through the game if nothing is new.

Ditto, the only thing I like about P3P is that A: Artwork B:Music C:Being able to play it if I'm out or on vacation.
Also there is news that on the up and coming Nintendo 3DS They will be releasing a Shin Megami Tensei Persona game. However it is not specified which one it'll be.

Well apparently theres going to be a new Shin Megami Tensei games, a Persona one, and also a new Devil Summoner on the 3DS. All they mentioned of the games was that titles from those series would appear on the handheld.

I hope it's the first Devil Summoner that was on the Sega Saturn, and hopefully Soul Hackers too. -sigh- that game tempts me so much i wanna play it even in japanese, even though playing a megaten game in another language is pretty pointless lol

Yeah Im thinking that the will have remakes of the first SMT possibly on it. Thats what Im really hoping for.

For some reason, a lot of people on gamefaqs think that all the games will be ports or remakes. I think the only remake will be ther original SMT,heck, maybe the original Megaten itslef. That be nice too.

I would actually like the first SMT and Megaten Games to get remade, but hopefully they won't do ALL of them lol
I think they need to make a new title on the 3DS. I don't want my favorite gaming company to become a guy who's scared to progress through a story fans have been waiting YEARS for and just spits out side-games and prequels *cough*Tetsuya Nomura*cough*

No I was going to, but the gameplay didnt look very appealing to me. I might stilll check it out and see if I like it.

It's a good game to say the least, interesting story and characters, but in all honesty, to me it's like TWEWY and P3 merged together in a weird fashion.
It's basically like a Disgaea game but it's SMT. And i'm always ALWAYS ending up to be the healer of the team. But atleast you can assign you're party members the demons of you're choosing.

Thats probably why it doesnt look good to me. Im not a fan of Disgaea, moreso just SRPG's in general. Ill just go with Strange Journey. That looks more interesting an looks really fun. Plus it looks more along the lines of the original SMT series, while Devil Survivor looks more like the new style of Persona, which dont get me wrong I love, but I want to mix things up a little bit.

I get what you mean. That's why I have games on the side when i get tired of playing P2. It's strange though, usually I'm more of a slash-action, melee type of guy when it comes to games, but I'm always catching myself playing turn based games lol

Same here. Im usually playing Tales of or Kingdom Hearts, but once in awhile you can catch me playing a turn-based game like an SMT game.

Well, I got a question for those who really likes the SMT series. Is it worth for me to get their games and play them? I only got the Persona 3: FES right now.

all I gotta say is YES! I mean if you're a fan of supernatural phenomena and enjoy a nice challenge in games that some games don't deliver.

Alright. I'll get the remaining SMT games later, but got way more questions. I'll shoot 2 for now. I dont understand why they got to shoot a bullet to the brain just to summon a persona... That's not helping people who plays this with a suicidal case.. By a nice challenge, you mean those games can be HARD? If yes, It'll make the whole more interesting.
